hellobill 3
Hi, I'm using Windows 10 and the latest Evernote. When I kill WiFi (or don't have it), the cursor gets stuck on spinny circle. I can still do stuff, it's more of an annoyance than a functionality problem. Clearly Evernote is just constantly trying to connect. Is there any to tell it to chill, I'll be back online later? Or is this just what it does? (It's somewhat annoying, and may cause me to move to OneNote, which frankly I hate -- much prefer Evernote). Any tips appreciated, thanks! -billb Link to comment
Level 5 Dave-in-Decatur 3,950 Posted December 30, 2018 Level 5 Share Posted December 30, 2018 In Tools > Options, check your synchronization settings. In the Synchronization section, you may want to deselect Sync in background and Sync every ... minutes while you're offline. Also, in the Note section set Automatically save edited note to some fantastically high value; I'm not 100% sure that this has to do with syncing rather than saving the note locally, but if spinning continues try this. Of course, you'll want to change all these back when you're connected again. Link to comment
