Crashes and lost data late november 2018

I have crashed nearyl every time I closed EN.  I have sent reports but nothing is changed and I can't use it for fear of losing more data.  I lost critical notes but was able to recover content by disconnecting from the wifi and copying and pasting the lost data.

Which device/platform?

I'm not experiencing a crash on closing (Mac, iPad), but I wouldn't expect a data loss - the data is stored in the cloud on the servers.
