avhome77 1
When using Evernote on Chrome, the interface lists notebooks on the left and there is a note search field at the top. I have a long list of notebooks, and I would like to be able to just type in the notebook name in the field (not a note but a notebook). It seems like a small thing, but it scrolling through all the notebooks to find the right one seems silly when there could just be a search field right there. Link to comment
Ex Employees Scott T. 662 Posted November 2, 2018 Ex Employees Share Posted November 2, 2018 @avhome77 We are actively working on improving the functionality of the note search field in our new web client to offer more information beyond just searching notes. Separately, though, I have passed on feedback to the team that we should have a search field in the Notebook list view (when you click on "Notebooks" in the left navigation). They'll file a ticket for the functionality and put it in their queue. I can't guarantee any particular timeline for implementation, though. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 11,652 Posted November 3, 2018 Level 5* Share Posted November 3, 2018 Meantime why not just search notebook:<your notebook> (you could even save that as a Favorite...) Link to comment
simplyF 1
I would like to be able to search the name of the destination notebook while moving a note from one notebook to the other. Currently the only option is to scroll down one by one. Link to comment
