My !Inbox Notebook has disappeared...HELP

For some reason, all of a sudden, i noticed that my new notes were automatically going into a random notebook i had created, and were no longer going into my inbox until i had the time to sort and file them into their correct notebooks... so when i went in to see why i realised that my inbox, and therefore my default notebook for this has disappeared?? Can anyone please help to get it back??

You can add it back.  Any notes in it when it was removed may have been lost.

On Windows, Go to File - New Notebook to add the notebook.  Go to Tools - Options - General to set the new notebook as the default.  Equivalent processes on other platforms.

Ah I had already done this... I just thought the original inbox that came when I first got evernote might have been something different.
