MattMattMattMatt 0
I'm only seeing 711 of my notes; hundreds are missing. I tried switching back to the last web version; no dice. Help? Link to comment

Notes dont usually go "missing" Even when deleted, they are moved to the Trash until expunged. What's your indicator of "hundreds are missimg"? Link to comment
MattMattMattMatt 0
I know that I had well over 1,000 notes, and searches for particular notes have come up empty. Link to comment

Level 5* gazumped 11,652 Posted November 2, 2018 Level 5* Share Posted November 2, 2018 Hmmn. Interesting... Did you check in the Trash folder to look for deleted notes? The change of web version is just cosmetic - that wouldn't have deleted your notes. Do you access Evernote on any other devices? If you use a desktop and it hasn't been connected for a while, make sure you have it offline until you check; it would be embarrassing to find your lost notes and then see them overwritten as the device syncs with the server version. The new web version is a feature-limited test version so I'd quite happily believe that search is not exactly accurate at the moment - you might still have your 'missing' notes - they're just not showing. Issues like this are why a lot of us here keep separate backups of the database on a local drive - I've never had to use it yet, but if I did have this sort of situation I could restore any missing notes without any problems.
