abaum23 0 Posted October 26, 2018 Share Posted October 26, 2018 My hard drive was erased which would usually be fine, but my to-do list is on a note that never syncs with my other devices and stays offline. This happens to a few of my notes, they just randomly never try to sync. Sometimes it seems like a particular note I tried to edit on one device and maybe had a note conflict, but for whatever the reason never see a note conflict, but rather it only appearing on my Macbook Pro desktop evernote, but never on my phone's app or the web app (same notes on these appear). Is this note assigned to a Local Notebook? The acivity log may provide information on the sync issue. Link to comment

Going forward, I’d recommend good backups (TimeMachine) and occasional export of all notes as html. It saves a lot of headaches. Link to comment

For a quick fix, I'd try copying the note to a new note. As per @GrumpyMonkey, backups are a good idea. I have daily incremental and weekly full backups using the export to html feature. If a note copy doesn't work I've sometimes had to copy the contents of the note, create a new note and then paste. I don't know why but I've found that always works even if a note copy doesn't. I just don't understand how Evernote can take up 6 GB at a time when my RAM is only 4 GB. Then it freezes my Mac often and won't load once I click force quit. Link to comment
