49erNutz 0 Posted October 17, 2018 Share Posted October 17, 2018 All of a sudden the Scan Snap icon in the system tray that represents the Evernote edition of ScanSnap manager has a red X in the right-hand corner. When I investigate I find that it will not recognize the scanner. I checked device manager in the scanner is there under imaging devices as it should be. I started the Fujitsu edition of the manager and it has no red X in it and it works perfectly. I can even set it up to scan directly to Evernote but the way it creates the notes is considerably different from what I'm used to previously. I have attempted several times to contact Evernote technical support and I feel completely ignored. I worked with Fujitsu's tech support and they were very helpful however this isn't their software and they weren't able to troubleshoot it with me especially since their version works. Am I the only one having this problem? Link to comment
