Table widths in iOS

Hi all. I’ve been a long time user of Evernote for work and use it regularly on my iPad mini. One bug bear is that notes in portrait mode go pretty much edge to edge but when using the app in landscape (and this is the more common scenario) there is a good deal of white space either side of the note. It’s particularly frustrating as a lot of notes I have are templates and use tables. Is there something I’m missing to extend the width of the note or does this functionality not exist?
