Cut / Copy / Paste eats line endings

In EN for Windows 6.15.3.7881 (307881) Public (CE Build ce-53.2.6641) - and all previous versions I've used, EN eats line endings

For example I have a note containing

Line 3

Line 2

Line 4

 

If I select "Line 3", including its line ending, and then try to move it down one line with either Ctrl+X, Ctrl+V or dragging the selected text, I get

Line 2

Line 3Line 4

 

This is basically something that every other text editor in the universe can do correctly.  I was really hoping the recent fixes that sounded like similar formatting fixes would have corrected this but no dice. Any tips would be suggested, is there a hidden setting somewhere?
