blackbasenji 0
Hi I'm new to EverNote, and I'm trying to figure out how to do a few things with the menubar Helper. I want to: Keep the notes window visible when I click outside of it. Bold text Assign Tags without opening the full app Are any of these possible? If not, I'll keep using NoteAway Thanks, Logan Link to comment

I'm not clear on the "click outside of it". edit: Sorry, I missed the Menubar Helper reference Notes can be opened in their own window. I keep my daily journal note displayed on a separate monitor. >>Bold text When editing within the note body, an edit toolbar appears Select the text, select B(old) >>Assign Tags without opening the full app I'm not clear on where you're operating if not in the Evernote app fwiw, I use scripting on my Mac (AppleScript) and can assign tags/title/reminder without opening the Evernote app Link to comment
blackbasenji 0
Hi there, I"m talking about the Helper in the top MenuBar on the Mac. It drops down when you click on the Elephant icon and you can type something and "save to evernote" Is there a way to keep it open while I click outside of it... switch tabs in a browser, etc. Because as it is as soon as I click outside of the dropdown Helper it disappears. There also doesn't seem to be any text formatting for the Helper? How do I set up the scripting to do the tags with the Helper? Link to comment

This will have the different formatting options that the Quick Note does not. Link to comment
