Idea

Hi, I have long notes and I have small notes. I see that I can only encrypt small note texts?

I think we would love the LONG NOTES - ALL TEXT ENCRYPTION feature i.e., no matter how long the note is, we should be able to encrypt all the texts.

LONG NOTE ALL THE TEXTS ENCRYPTION feature gives the peace of mind.

Kindly consider this and you will have a LIFELONG PREMIUM customer. I like EverNote very much due to its smoothness :)

Regards.

Thanks in advance!

Evernote has a text encryption feature.
I've not noticed it impacted by the length of text.

It's not a feature I use much.
I prefer the native encryption in attachments (pdf, office/iwork documents, ...)
This also allows encryption for non-text elements

Actually, I don't have a mac otherwise I would have gone for iwork.

And are you telling me to write my notes into a PDF and then password protecting it and then uploading it to Evernote? If yes, then it seems a lot of task of first writing into PDF and then putting pass and then uploading. Also, I have to make a Notebook, Stack, then Headline and then upload the PDF.

I'm always like getting ideas and writing it download by quickly creating a headline and then writing the notes. What do you advise for a protection on such scenario?

I do my encryption outside of Evernote.

I encrypt pdfs.  If I'm writing something to be encrypted, I use office/iwork apps.

If typing something in Evernote, it immediately gets uploaded unencrypted to the server and devices.  It gets backed up by Note History. (exception - offline or Local Notebooks)
It's too late to decide the data requires encryption.

Oh so that's writing in pdf/office/iwork -> Encrypting it with pass -> Uploading it to Evernote in a notebook?

Is that how you do?

With pdfs, I use an app to apply encryption (Mac Preview/Automator)

With Office/iWork documents, after typing my note, I select the password option in the Save menu.

Can you recommend any good encryption for Windows?

How is 7-Zip's encryption?

And by office, you mean MS office or Open Office?

I should have been clearer; I use Apple-iWorks and MS-Office
