Margarida Afonso 18
Create a Lock Edit Mode which would not allow a note to be edited unless a key was used (e.g. password, biometric reading). This is to avoid changing them by mistake on Android. Even if the edit required clicking the edit button, it still can happen by mistake. Link to comment
Level 5* jefito 5,589 Posted June 18, 2018 Level 5* Share Posted June 18, 2018 This has been requested a lot, search the forums for other instances, and add your vote. Here's the one that appears on the first page of the General Feature Requests forum, and which is probably the best choice: https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/99143-read-only-option-for-notes/ Citing Android here seems a little weird. As far as I know, you can't make changes in the Android client unless you explicitly tap on the checkmark icon. If you use the standard Back Button to exit a note, you'll get a "Discard?" dialog. This is on my phone; maybe tablets are different? Link to comment
