Search in IOS does not work

iPhone 8

iOS 11.31 /  EN 8.12

Searching in ALL NOTES returns zero results. 

If i go back to the actual Notebook where the note is stored, a SEARCH IN "NOTEBOOK", it will return the correct result(s).

it works fine on my iPad 11.3.1 / 8.12

it works fine on my Mac. 10.13.4 / 7.1.1

(Yes I did see there was an iOS update)

I'm having this same problem on my iPhone 8 and it is VERY frustrating. This very feature is why I use evernote...to be able to search everything, so I don't have to always remember exactly which folder I put the note in.

I am also having the same issue - i am on Ever 

note Ver. 8.12 on a iPhone iOS 11.4.

Great work around! i have to say I never used that icon in the “footer” before, since search is at the top. Thanks for noting it.

Thanks indeed this does work.  I hope the Evernote Team can address the issue.  In the meantime this will help my workflow.

I had this problem on my iPad. I deleted the app, reinstalled it and it works now.

Test search is now working under All Notes.

Two changes on my ipad

1. Upgraded to v 8.13
2. Rebuilt my offline notes

8.13 had the opposite effect on my iPad, even after the rebuild.

Deleting the app then downloading latest version which just came out 8.13, is now working for me.

 I can confirm as of today that this method works by deleting the app and reinstalling it and signing in the search field ( this described issue) does work.

i am on iOS 11.4 and Evernote Ver. 8.13

I've delete and downloaded twice now, search still fails and it is way way slow on my iPad.  Submitted a trouble ticket to EN, we'll see what happens.

the search function on my IOS devices does not work at all. Have Evernote professional. It works perfectly on Mac.

What types of searches are you doing?

I've found tag searches work.     

Text searches are inconsistent

I had this issue and I deleted and reinstalled the app. Then the problem solved!

I am experiencing the same 'search All Notes' issue on iPhone and iPad (iOS 11.4, Evernote app 8.12).

On iMac search is perfectly fine (macOS 10.13.4, EN 7.1.1).

Today I followed the advice above, deleted and reinstalled the app from iPhone (updating EN to vs. 8.13) - now 'search all notes' is working again!
