Preserving Created Date When Copying Notes

When I try to copy notes from one notebook to another, I can't seem to be able to preserve the originally created dates. In Windows, there is an option to click to do this when copying the notes, but I can't seem to find it on my Mac. 

I checked the forum and there was a similar question in 2016 with no simple solution, so I am posting again, hoping there is an update.

As a work-around, you can do an export/import.
