How to add note without diverting my attention (when driving the car)?

Idea

Hi! My ideas (notes to save to Evernote) usually come to me when I drive my car. The problem is that I need to execute the following steps for that:
  1. activate screen
  2. find evernote shortcut location
  3. click it
  4. click add note button
  5. click to select the input mode
  6. wait for it to be activated
  7. (after saying my note) - click Apply
  8. exit from the created note

You know, it is pretty risky for me to divert attention from the road (for this algo). It really takes me about 5 seconds and it can cost me life. Is there any way to avoid attention distraction? Please share your experience or let`s brainstorm :)

Obvious solution, works for both Android and iOS:

  • Pull over and stop your car.
  • Make your note.
  • Resume driving. You (and other drivers) remain safe.

Somewhat more seriously though (but not much), a web search on "evernote android assistant create note" turned up the following, for what it's worth: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000930107-How-to-use-Google-Assistant-with-Evernote
