'Tabs' or 'Pages' within a Note

Idea

'Tabs or Pages' Feature Within a Note

I'd like to be able to split a note up into 'tabs', with a similar UI as the 'sheets' tab at the bottom of excel

This would be transformational. This is the one key feature of Microsoft OneNote that I really miss.

Better at top (or side) of note than bottom , ideally configuration option.

Would be great way to link related notes, so if easier to implement, each tab could be a separate note.

My solution is to use sub-notes.  5adca724e3f9e_ScreenShot2018-04-22at08_15_22.png.83ace464540fc72b4e1df39af4dcf592.png
These are actually separate notes;
- I include table of contents links at the top of each note.
- The TOC can be a list, or a tabs-like table.

I think this would be useful. Current workarounds that come to mind include @DTLow's suggestion to use note links (I find it a bit cumbersome to maintain the note links in the event note titles are changed or notes are moved to a non-sync'ed notebook) and using tags. The OP may already be aware of the latter, but for those not familiar, if your related notes share the same tag, when viewing one of the notes, if you hover the mouse over the relevant tag, a right arrow appears; clicking on that right arrow will filter your notes using that tag (if you have already filtered your notes by some other criteria, the tag will be added to the filter; the other items in the filter can be removed by clicking on the 'X' that appears next to the item when you mouse over it).
