I would like to be able to copy/import tags from another note

Idea

When I create a new notebook, most of the notes within it will have many of the same tags. I would like to have the ability to copy or import tags from another note so that I do not have to keep typing the same tags for each note that I create.

This feature would make Evernote sooo much faster and better!

I can't imagine this not getting voted up more by now. It is exactly what we all need. I found your post as I was about to submit the question to a help ticket.

Workaround in the meantime.  Use a text expander like PhraseExpress or Autohotkey and create a phrase containing the list of tags separated by commas.  Then when you want to add the tags to a note, go to the tag field and use whatever shortcut key you established.  All the tags will be added to the note.
