Deselect selected text after creating a link

Larry Clapp

Idea

To make a regular hyperlink (not a note link), you select/highlight the word/phrase, press Cmd-K (on a Mac), paste the URL, press enter, and then press right-arrow to deselect the word/phrase.  If you don't press right-arrow (or make some other movement), then the text remains selected, and so if you just keep typing, whatever you type will overwrite what you just linked.

It would be nice if that last step went away, and after you pressed enter, the word/phrase was automatically deselected and the cursor was placed at the end of the selection, as if you had pressed right-arrow. That way, you could press enter, and then just keep typing.
