[Bug report] Cursor disappeared. Evernote version: 6.8.7.6387

Evernote version: 6.8.7.6387

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a note with some test content. For example, "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa". It's title becomes "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"
2. In search box enter "aaa". Then this newly created note appeared.
3, Without deleting "aaa" in search box click somewhere in the note. Cursor appears where you click
4. Try to enter something.  Cursor just disappeared. Expected result: entered text should appeared in the note in the place where cursor was. And cursor should not disappeared

I also created Ticket# 2312965 for this issue

Confirmed. 

Interestingly, if you click, enter a letter click, it seems to work after that.  The letter between the two clicks does not show.

Yes. It is unreliable, caused to possible data loss, so I decided to switch to Evernote Web client until they fix this issue

Good catch! I used your directions and tried several variations. The problem was duplicated it every time.

Please let us know what Evernote Support's response is.

It's typically not Support's job to manage bug status. Once the bug is added to the pipeline, it's usually QA that verifies the scenario where it occurs (if possible),  and once that happens, the team can then calculate the severity (and maybe cost of fixing) and can go about assigning priority. So Lanie is just stating what she/he can say about it: if it's not yet verified as a bug  by QA (even if  it's been easily reproduced by at least three forum users), it's probably marked as UNVERIFIED or something similar in the bug database. Once the verification happens, then then it will undergo the same triage/fix process as other bugs, and you'd probably be able to get a different answer to your question.

This happens to me on every note.  select note, click in note body, type (nothing happens), click in same spot, type as normal.
