DavidD 13
My local notebooks have disappeared from my Mac client. I upgraded EN (as per the auto update) a couple of days ago. Any suggestions as to how to get these back? Link to comment

Do you have any personal backups? Time Machine? Link to comment

Wouldn't the notes also be wherever EN stores them on my HD such that I could get them back that way? Does EN Mac still support local notebooks? I noticed that when I try and create a new notebook I don't get the option to make it local. Link to comment

I can walk you through that. The first step is to locate your database folder Hold down the option key, click on menu Help > Troubleshooting > Open Database Folder >>Does EN Mac still support local notebooks? Yes, Local Notebooks are still supported. Hold down the option key when pressing menu File Evernote made it a little less easy; too many users were creating and losing Local Notebooks All users with Local Notebooks should have backups in place Link to comment
