Confirmed; tags are applied at the note level I do have the option of inserting keywords into the note These can be located using a text search I keep a list at the beginning of the document >>how do you that? Which item do you need help with? Also, you'd get more specific help if you identify your platform/device Link to comment

If you want your comments by page and tagged by page, then you need a note per page. If you want notes per book, you can create a table with columns of Chapter, Page, Comment, MyOmmentTag (your tag for the comment). You can search globally or within the note for MyCommentTag. Not the same as a tag in EN, but might help with your set up. FWIW. Link to comment

My comments are consolidated in a single note for each bookbut I see no problem with having multiple notes For example: Book: Prince of Tides Book: War and Peace 1 Book: War and Peace 2 Sometimes I extract quotes during my reading of a book These end up as separate notes, tagged appropriately. I use note links to cross-reference the quote-notes with the book-note For example: I would rather see a museum bombed than a book underlined Link to comment

Just a thought, but I would think about how you want to find things before you make your final decision, whatever app it be. It's one thing to put the stuff in, it's another thing entirely to get stuff out in a useful and productive fashion. Link to comment
