Hi.  Because there are several very good apps that manage passwords - LastPass and Bitwarden amongst them - and Evernote is not a specialised passsword store,  though it could be used that way if you wish.  It is not however recommended.  A note containing passwords could be protected by encrypting the text content of the note,  or by using a password-protected PDF file to hold the information.

Hi, thak u for reply but i wont agree with u. If the case with evernote is becaming our second brain or a digital memory, there should be a specialised password storage area. coz i dont look evernote as an app, its seriously my digital memory and my digital memory needs a place that i can save my passwords in safe. but pass-protected pdf is a good and a temporary idea, thank u

Why we dont have a special secure area within Evernote for saving passwords ?

What are you looking for in a “special secure area”

The only thing I can think of is encryption, and you can just simply encrypt text in any note (Win/Mac platforms)59e3eec39dc4b_ScreenShot2017-10-15at16_26_20.png.43490e88f83822aec5bc3e66eeaf8e57.png

Evernote is my digital memory too - but I still use an email client to send my mails,  and a photographer's site to save my pictures,  because they have better features than Evernote can offer,  and do the job more efficiently.  Likewise with passwords.  But you can use Evernote however you want for whatever you want...   :)

Not simple encryption; Evernote uses AES 128 bit, a strong level

There are more advanced encryption levels but I’m satisfied with this
