claire.d@haafco.com 2
Each time I try to share a note, Evernote asks 'is your email address still XX@XX.com?' then sends me a verification email. I got through the verification process each time but still can't share a note. Anyone out there got tips on this? Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 11,664 Posted October 6, 2017 Level 5* Share Posted October 6, 2017 Hi. That's not the way things are supposed to work - an occasional verification might happen, but each time you share? No. Can you give us a bit more detail? What device, what OS, what version of Evernote - and what exact process do you go through in sharing a note? Link to comment
claire.d@haafco.com 2
Hi, thanks for the reply. I’m only just starting with Evernote, so latest desktop version. New MacBook Pro with latest OS. It happens either when I select the ‘share’ button, or when right clicking a note to share it. Doesn’t happen on mobile (iPhone 6). Thanks. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 11,664 Posted October 7, 2017 Level 5* Share Posted October 7, 2017 Hmmn. Weird. Don't know how Evernote time their verification requests - they do happen, but I had ony a couple this year that I can recall.. don't think it's cookie-related, but you might try uninstalling and reinstalling the app just to make sure that all the permissions Evernote needs are in place. If that doesn't help - and unless someone here had a similar experience and found a cure - I guess your next option would be to ask Support if they can suggest anything... https://www.evernote.com/SupportLogin.action if you're a paying customer, tweet https://twitter.com/evernotehelps if not. How to uninstall and reinstall Evernote Link to comment
claire.d@haafco.com 2
Thanks for that. Will give uninstalling a go, else submit a support request. Cheers! Link to comment
