sallly struthers 15
Is there any way to reduce the margin introduced in the latest build? (6.7.5.5825) Such a waste of space. I don't need to land an airplane in my margins. Link to comment

sallly struthers 15
Well, that's more than disappointing, especially for a program whose promoted focus is utility note taking. @csihilling — Also, thank you for the quick, concise answer. Link to comment

Evernote has several main features that it promotes on its main page: Make a note of it: Create a project to-do list. Jot down a reminder. Or snap a picture of a sketch. A note can be anything you want it to be. And once you make a note, it’s accessible wherever you go, forever. Have it everywhere: Capture a note once, and it’s instantly available on all your devices. Never worry about where you saved something because it’s in Evernote, and Evernote is wherever you are. Find anything fast: Whether it’s text, images or documents, you keep things for a reason. That’s why Evernote makes sure the notes you’ve saved are easy to find. You can even search for handwritten words buried deep within your notes. Share with anyone: Share what matters with the people who matter to you. Capture life’s little moments and share them from wherever you happen to be. Or share big ideas by collaborating seamlessly with co-workers in a group notebook. While the new margins are bothersome to some folks, and it's unfortunate that they've been added to support tables, which not everyone uses, they don't preclude you from taking notes or any of the other main areas of functionality. That being said, hopefully -- since this is a pretty new feature -- they'll fine tune it to be less obtrusive when not needed. Link to comment
jwhiite518 2
Whenever I add new text to a note, it is indented. This happens on new notes and also existing notes. I've tried using Decrease Indent but it doesn't work. This is new behavior, didn't used to be this way. How do I make it stop? Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 11,665 Posted October 27, 2017 Level 5* Share Posted October 27, 2017 Hi. For the moment, you don't. Text is indented because of a new layout to accommodate tables. There has been a lot of comment about it in the forums. It's a design change. Link to comment
