Space In Front of Links to Google Docs Documents

Recommended Posts

Evernote seems to be inserting blank spaces in front of links to Google Docs documents (see screenshot). I'm using Evernote 6.7.5.5825 (just upgraded) and don't recall seeing this issue before. Does anyone know if this is a bug that was recently introduced and if there's any workaround?

Hi.  Always best to report apparent glitches in a new release in the actual release thread as here -

...I've not noticed anything unusual about link layout - which Windows are you on?  7 or 10?

Yes, I'm having the same issue, but seems to happen only when using linking to a Google doc?  Has there been any resolution?

After some trial and error, I noticed that the space was only appears with links to Google Docs documents as well. Pretty sure the space is supposed to be an icon (see screenshot) but it seems that the icon doesn't display sometimes. Not sure why that happens (or if there's fix). I also can't reproduce getting a missing icon consistently.

Having the same issue, but I do repro it with Google Drive links.

Edit: found a workaround: "Format > Remove Formatting", or Ctrl + Shift + Space. If anyone knows of a permanent way for disabling this behavior without having to remove formatting every time, please let us know
