NK Saini 0 Posted September 4, 2017 Share Posted September 4, 2017 Hello Evernote users, I am facing problem when logging in Evernote app for window 7 (64 bit) installed on Vaio. An error message is being displayed as can not connect to server. However, I am able to use my account on web portal (https://www.evernote.com) without any difficulty. You could go to https://www.evernote.com/ and click the Download link in the upper right. That will download the standard Windows Evernote program. Link to comment

The proxy setting for accessing internet is displayed in the attached file. I am beginner on Evernote (latest version 6.6.4. 5512 installed). Please go through attached files and suggest some changes in order to access Evernote. Link to comment

If you need help to get through your company firewall I'd suggest you get some local assistance. The link I sent earlier is as much as I know about this! Looking at the specialised Sony version of the software you appear to have, some parts of that may be rather old - according to this link it was first issued in 2010 http://www.technologytell.com/gadgets/53535/sony-vaio-computers-will-come-bundled-with-evernote-software/ If you've now upgraded to the latest general release (6.6.4) it may be worthwhile completely uninstalling and reinstalling the current Evernote to ensure that older parts of the software have been replaced. The link mentions 'special Sony features' though - if you use any of these, you may lose them with a reinstall; I'd recommend you contact Support to confirm the safest way to proceed.
