Evernotes to markdown

Idea

Danilux    2

Is there a way to export my evernotes to markdown while mantaining the formatting? I tried exporting from evernote to HTML, and pasted that HTML to tools that convert HTML to markdown, but the HTML created by evernote seems to be not acceptable.

Or at least find a way to export from evernote to raw text, stripped from any formatting, so I can paste that text and reformat it on a markdown app

Hi.  So let's see...

Export text from a note is available by:

  1. copy and paste
  2. 'printing' to a file
  3. exporting to HTML or ENEX (a form of XML)

What, specifically, does "not acceptable" mean? Does Evernote output invalid HTML?

Can you tell  us the tools you’re using.  I’m not a markdown user but I would have expected the html to be standard.

Is cut and paste of any use?
