Level 5* jefito 5,589 Posted August 16, 2017 Level 5* Share Posted August 16, 2017 I don't know whether you can do that before it starts syncing, but you can enable it via Tools / Options / Synchronization / "Enable on demand sync"; shouldn't take too long to do that. You're still going to be downloading some metadata from the Evernote servers, so that search will work. Ah, there's a registry entry with the suspicious name "EnableOnDemandSyncTMP" in the Evernote entries. Might be worth a try setting that to 1 before you launch Evernote... Link to comment

If you then enable the "purge after X days" option, it will go back and clear out what was downloaded before you enabled it. Link to comment
