I use Evernote on 3 devices: Windows PC, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, and Samsung Galaxy Note II. Sync works fine on the two Samsung devices, but has not been effective on the PC since June 25. (Windows 10 Version 1607 Build 14393.1480.

I have followed the advice in Troubleshooting (Sync Issues) but without success. I have checked the Evernote Web; it is up to date. I cannot find Internet Explorer; it seems a recent System Update may have removed it, because I remember it being there some time ago (I don't normally use it).

The activity log this morning is as follows:

I must be getting seriously dumb in my old age, but I can't figure out how to 'reset comms in Edge'.

Incidentally, one note was synced on 30 July  (no idea what prompted that), but I did lots of work between 25 June and 30 July that didn't get synced at all. What I value most about Evernote is the seamless interface with all my devices.

No dumbness or age involved - I'd assumed that Edge would be like IE and have... well,  settings that you could check / reset / refresh to restore the internet connection.

Apparently that's not qute the case (I just opened Edge on my 4-year old laptop for the first time... ;))

Don't know if this will help - http://www.thewindowsclub.com/reset-microsoft-edge-browser-to-default-settings-in-windows-10 -  but I definitely suggest you reach out to Support directly if you're a paying customer on https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new or tweet them if not via https://twitter.com/evernotehelps

Hi, the 'sync button' on menu bar has a symbol on it in 'red' !    What does this mean and what should I do about it?

Chrome is current, W7, HP desk computer.   Thank you for your help.

Hi.  Since you posted in the 'sync failure' thread I'm guessing you realise that the red "!" means exactly that.  How to troubleshoot syncing issues

Hi Mr. Guru, I am sorry I did not mention that I was still able to sync at my last writing. But the red "!" is still there. So, in Chrome, W7, HP PC, I can sync. But that mark is still there. Thank you for your help.  Nothing in HELP addresses this issue.

Well,  the red exclamation mark does mean that there at least was a problem in syncing,  but it should disappear when things get back to normal.  You just prompted me to look at my sync button - which has a red mark!  I tapped it for a manual sync and it went away.  If yours doesn't do that,  try holding Ctrl and clicking the button - you may get an error window with more details.

Left-click the radar dish Activity icon for a list of recent activity - mine now shows -

I also had the red exclamation mark on the sync button earlier today, but after 6:20 am PT it was gone again. So maybe in your case, it's a different problem?

There was a service outage earlier this morning.
