[VIDEO] Journal Template in Evernote

Hey, I'm working on my Journal Template in Evernote and I wanted to hear some feedback what else can I implement.

Actual version contains:

- description of the day in few words
- rating of the day (good/bad) in note title
- checklist of sub-journals which contains:

1.  dream journal 
   1. screenshot of Sleep Cycle app for iPhone
   2. what was I dreaming
   3. how I felt after wake up
2. productivity journal
   1. screenshot of RescueTime app (time tracking)
   2. activity log (made during the day)
   3. list of Most Important Tasks planned day before and actual results
   4. thoughts how can I be more productive
3. finances
   1. calculations of how much my business made today
   2. screenshot of my YNAB list of expenses 
4. personal development (not sure about that one since I can write about it in main journal)
   1. what new I've learned this day
   2. what book/article I read and thoughts about it
   3. what good inspiring video I watched 
5. accomplishments
   1. every accomplishment, outcome in a new note 

- and score: The more accomplishments I achieve the better score I have.

PS. The reason for me to start writing journal is to increase my awareness.

I'd like to see your actual templates. Please post a link sometime 

I start off my journal with the weather (feed from ifttt)
and tide schedule

My journal has an activity section that I initiate in the morning
Its my plan for the day, with entries selected from my calendar and task list
Its a log; I update it during the day and close it off at the end-of-day

My template includes checkboxes for repetive tasks; like feed the kids ...

I like the idea of including information in the title; it makes the note list more useful
Since the finances were important; I'd also transfer that figure to the title

That's my first template, I will try to improve it in the next few days and of course I can share EN link if you'd like to:) Currently I use Keyboard Maestro macro to paste that template.
It happens when I type "--j". Did you see the video?

Good idea. IFTTT creates new note and then you copy it to journal manually or it's also scripted?

Was thinking about it. But in Finances Sub-Journal. Same as in accomplishments.


(that "accomplishment" is for example purposes of course)

I'm using scripting on a Mac (AppleScript)
Basically to copy the template and assign the title and tags
