Idea

Please could a rule-based automation workflow be built into Evernote

The idea is to use Evernote's OCR ability to identify a situation like:

   -  If a receipt or expense is identified then to take an action,

   -  If a statement is identified then to take an action,

Actions that could be performed are:

   -  to apply a TAG,

   -  to OCR again and identify data like Date, Vendor, Amount, Currency,

Evernote has a scripting level (AppleScript) on the Mac platform
I've developed various scripts to automate my workflow

IOS has a Worflow app and I've automated some Evernote workflows

I use the Scannable app to scan my receipts and it identifies receipts; creating notes with the title Receipt.  I make use of this in a script but haven't tried to tap into the OCR data

Thanks DTLow, I'm looking for automation and workflow functionality, which is not reliant on my equipment and particularly reliant on me. There are so many more interesting things to be done. :)

Scannable is a great App! I use it all the time myself.
