Evernote has Hi-jacked my system

I cannot stop Evernote from starting up!!

I installed Evernote on my Mac a while ago but never got into it - I thought I had unistalled it by dragging the application into the trash but it still starts up every time the Mac restarts. It is NOT listed as an installed program, it is NOT in the startup folder, I cannot find any application files but still it starts up.I've tried everything I know so can someone suggest what I can try please?

I'm running Sierra - latest version on a 2011 iMac 27".

This was a bug (I believe) in an earlier version of Evernote for Mac.  Try updating the app and then uninstall it (again) and you should be able to (finally) remove it.
