TXMikeD 1
Hello, I started getting sync errors for my Mac Desktop client (Version 6.10 (454269 App Store)). I am a Basic account. I have stopped and started, I have rebooted. I have not uninstalled. I had been traveling outside the US and thought that might be the reason but I am back in the US and the problem still persists. My internet is satellite or 4G but has not been an issue in the past. Evernote on my iPhone can sync on both of those networks. I tried signing out and am now not able to sign back in. I get conflicting errors. A pop up that says: Quote Please check your Internet connection or try again later. And an red banner that says: Quote Incorrect username or password. The error from the activity log was: Quote Version: Evernote Mac 6.10 (454269) [App Store] Locale: en-US OS: 10.10.5 WebKit: 600.8.9 WebCore: 600.8.9 Username: MY NAME IS HERE Email: MY EMAIL IS HERE Mac Model: EMAIL CPU Type: Intel CPU Count: 8 CPU Speed: 2.500000 GHz RAM: 16.000000 GB Date: 2017-04-03 19:29:05 +0000 2017/04/03 14:17:33:924 E|*** __63-[ENConnectedServicesController updateConnectedServicesForced:]_block_invoke_2 | Error fetching scoped credential: TTransportException: Error loading HTTP request userInfo = { error = "Error Domain=NSURLErrorDomain Code=-1200 \"An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made.\" UserInfo=SOMECODEORHASH {_kCFStreamErrorDomainKey=3, NSLocalizedRecoverySuggestion=Would you like to connect to the server anyway?, _kCFStreamErrorCodeKey=-9836, NSUnderlyingError=0x610000848580 \"An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made.\", NSErrorPeerCertificateChainKey=(\n), NSLocalizedDescription=An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made., NSErrorFailingURLKey=https://www.evernote.com/shard/s256//utility, NSErrorFailingURLStringKey=https://www.evernote.com/shard/s256//utility, NSErrorClientCertificateStateKey=0}"; } 2017/04/03 14:17:34:566 E|*** __74-[ENLinkedInTokenManager fetchSharedLinkedInCredentialIfNecessaryAndWait:]_block_invoke_2 | TTransportException: Error loading HTTP request userInfo = { error = "Error Domain=NSURLErrorDomain Code=-1200 \"An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made.\" UserInfo=SOMECODEORHASH {_kCFStreamErrorDomainKey=3, NSLocalizedRecoverySuggestion=Would you like to connect to the server anyway?, _kCFStreamErrorCodeKey=-9836, NSUnderlyingError=0x608000458060 \"An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made.\", NSErrorPeerCertificateChainKey=(\n), NSLocalizedDescription=An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made., NSErrorFailingURLKey=https://www.evernote.com/shard/s256//utility, NSErrorFailingURLStringKey=https://www.evernote.com/shard/s256//utility, NSErrorClientCertificateStateKey=0}"; Any suggestions for getting this working? TXMikeD 1
This is the error I see in the activity log when I try to log in. Both give me an error, but I can get there. Does this look right? I got the same results using both google and openDNS. TXMikeD 1
OK, restarted again and I see this, with a new URL. Looks like yinxiang.com is the Chinese site for Evernote? Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 11,661 Posted April 5, 2017 Level 5* Share Posted April 5, 2017 Hi. Are your device settings back to US location and language? Your app shouldn't be looking at the Chinese site - unless you opened an account with them? Link to comment

No idea where that is coming from. Link to comment
