Sync Errors from Mac Desktop

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I started getting sync errors for my Mac Desktop client (Version 6.10 (454269 App Store)). I am a Basic account.

I have stopped and started, I have rebooted. I have not uninstalled. I had been traveling outside the US and thought that might be the reason but I am back in the US and the problem still persists. My internet is satellite or 4G but has not been an issue in the past. Evernote on my iPhone can sync on both of those networks.

I tried signing out and am now not able to sign back in. I get conflicting errors. A pop up that says:

Please check your Internet connection or try again later.

And an red banner that says:

Incorrect username or password.

The error from the activity log was:

Any suggestions for getting this working?

Thanks,

I can get to https://www.evernote.com/edam/user in my browser and via curl on the command line. Both give me an error, but I can get there.

Does this look right? I got the same results using both google and openDNS.

OK, restarted again and I see this, with a new URL.

I try to log in and get the same error as my previous post, with an EverNote URL. Looks like yinxiang.com is the Chinese site for Evernote?

Hi.  Are your device settings back to US location and language?  Your app shouldn't be looking at the Chinese site - unless you opened an account with them?

I agree, but I changed no settings for location/locale/language and never signed up for the Chinese site. No idea where that is coming from.
