To do that, click the Account button on the lower right, then the Work Chat item. But it is probably reminders. And it could be reminders from someone elses notebook that they are sharing with you - that seems to be a bug right now, and there is nothing you can do about that if that is the case, short of leaving their notebook. So how exactly do I go "into settings" to turn off the reminders? It doesn't appear to possible (in either the Evernote app settings or the phone's settings. Link to comment

My solution was to turn off Evernote's badge icon The badge is used for Reminders and Chat sessions Link to comment
