two factor authentication google login nightmare...

gkirk

Idea

I just created a new account linked to my google account for authentication via the web app. I turned on two factor authentication via text and google authenticator (for some reason it made me do both).

I can't log into the OSX app via my google account. Attached is the relevant activity log. It just keeps alternating between a network error or a bad response from google?

So i figure that maybe the problem is that two-factor authentication just doesn't work. So i go back to the web app to turn it off.. I need a password to access those parts of the settings **a password that I've never created**.

So I'm kind of at a loss. I think I basically need to delete my account and start over.

Summary: Maybe google authentication is down. But the web settings aren't accessible from a google-linked account because you never create a password for it.

Also, I'm sorry if I don't know where to put this. From the support site where it suggests making a support ticket ... there is no way to make a support ticket. Is there a "create support ticket" button missing? Or is logging bug reports a premium feature?
