Add web clipper to exit article

Please kindly advise how to add chosen screen shot/ chosen area to exist article, (not create a new note) by web clipper.

Hi.  You're posting in a forum about Evernote's Penultimate app.  Is this the standard browser clipper you're having problems with?

Clipper puts new clips into new notes.  'Attach' the clip to another note by merging the two.

If you're a paying subscriber it's possible to send pages by email as an attachment - How to save email into Evernote

Otherwise using the screen clipper or plain old copy and paste will put new content into an existing note.
