Unable to run Evernote or uninstall to resinstall

Hi,

I'm running version 6.4.2

The program was fine few days back and now when I run it I get this error: "Could not set file security for file F:\Config.Msi\"Error: 2. Verify that  you have sufficient privileges to modify the security permissions for this file. 

I get this same error when I do an uninstall. 

Please help

If all of your notes are safely in the cloud (you can check by going to www.evernote.com and logging in and looking with your browser) you should be able to nuke your local install using Revo Uninstaller, then reboot and reinstall.

 

If your notes are not all there, you should contact Evernote to see if they can resurrect your install so it can finish syncing if there was stuff that didn't make it up before it crashed.
