Notebooks created in Penultimate only show up in Evernote

Hi All,

 

New user here, sorry if this is basic.  I created 6 new Notebooks in Penultimate yesterday on iPad Pro.  Today I went to use one and they have all disappeared.  When I tried to recreate on it told me that I already had a notebook with that name.

I next opened the Evernote app and all of the notebooks I created yesterday are there.  So they exist but I can't see them or use them in Penultimate.

Can someone point me in the right direction so that I can use these Notebooks in Penultimate?
