Hi.  Most experienced users seem to use an external calendar - Evernote has never had a calendar feature and has never suggested it would provide one.  As to Palm desktop,  there have been enquiries here before on this -

https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/102957-calendar/

That last one talks about a "Palm Desktop memo importer for Evernote" but the link seems not to work.  I couldn't find anything similar on a general search.

There are comments about "Import Folders" too - more information here:  How to create import folders in Evernote for Windows

I like to have my events and tasks in a calendar too - I like the grid view, and the calendar app provides better notification features

I use Cronofy Calendar Connector to sync my notes to my calendar app

You can use Outlook App for iOS, it works very well.

Now the problem is a decent desktop calendar app or website (Sunrise used to cover all this brilliantly). For desktop I use Cronofy + Outlook.com but it lacks one important feature for me - the "tick" for completed tasks. Although may not seem important, it makes a huge difference to see the tasks completed or pending in your calendar.
