The lack of any obvious development for what is now a long time seems to suggest that the "new" web version ("Version2"), in both its original and Beta builds, is now seen as a dead duck by Evernote.
The Beta was either something that ultimately did not work out or simply something to keep us thinking that development was in the pipeline.
It is to be hoped that 2017 will see the launch of Web Version 3.
If you want something to appear in Version 3, ask for it as if you believed it could go into Web Version 2. I am sure it won't, but if your request gets lots of votes, there is maybe more chance that it will go into Version 3. Maybe.
