OztOmatO 0 Posted October 31, 2016 i want to create a work chat with my friend in China, but she even can't see the message I send to her, what can I do? Share this post Link to post
gazumped 6,915 Posted November 1, 2016 Hi. A first chat is always introduced by email. Has the email gone to her spam folder? Share this post Link to post
amanda_h 293 Posted November 5, 2016 Hi @OztOmatO - Is your friend using the Evernote service or the Yinxiang service? If you have an Evernote account and your friend has a Yinxiang account, Work Chat messages will not be able to get sent across these different services, though you can email notes to each other to share in that way. To email a note from within Evernote, select the note from the note list, then do the following: Windows: Right click the note, then select Share > Send a Copy...Mac: Select Note > More Sharing > Email a Copy... from the Evernote menu bariPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch: Open the note, tap the options menu (three horizontal dots near the bottom of the screen), tap Share, then tap Mail.Android: Tap the options menu (near the top of the screen) and select Email a copyWeb: Click the arrow (pointing down) on the Share button to expand the menu, and select Email. Once people receive your email, they receive a snapshot of the note at the time you shared it. They won't see any content changes that you may make to that note later. Share this post Link to post
gazumped 6,915 Posted November 5, 2016 Hi @amanda_h - in that situation (and obviously depending on the content of the note), could the person sharing it email the URL of the public link? That would show the current version of the note each time it was accessed, although it's not then possible for the other person to to edit the content... 1 Share this post Link to post

Hey @gazumped - Yes, sharing a public URL link should work for viewing the content as well. My bad for leaving that option out, good catch! 1 Share this post Link to post
