Autocorrect in the desktop version is inconsistent with other autocorrect experiences (iOS, for example, which does it well).
On Mac Evernote desktop, when autocorrect acts incorrectly and you want to revert to your original word:
1) CMD+Z should undo the autocorrect action, returning to your original word. Instead it undoes the typing of the original word; you have to type the word again and the process repeats itself;
2) backspacing over the autocorrected word and retyping the original word triggers the same incorrect autocorrect action.
In both cases you are in loop, forcing you to engage the suggestion pop up to proceed - which is both disruptive to workflow / train of thought and annoying.
