  1. The zoom feature in Evernote is awesome! However, I find I'm constantly zooming. Would love to have a default zoom, or some way to make the font size consistent. One idea is to let the user decide how large they want the font to appear on their particular device. Then evernote measures a character or word in the note and zooms in to match the user preference. Or even just set a default zoom so that all notes are automatically zoomed in x2 or whatever the user has set.
  2. Hi gang, I am new here but not to Evernote. I absolutely love it. Anyhow, I am having a bit of an issue and am hoping someone can help me with it. I opened a note that had some really small text in a pdf that I was wanting to read. As it was so small I hit the ctrl key and the roller on my mouse to see if I could get it large to read. Well now all my text in all my notes is really big and zoomed in. I have tried ctrl and the mouse wheel again, I have checked the font size and it is a normal size (10 or 12). It is fine on my mobile device. Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this. Thanks in Advance for any help.
  3. After upgrading to 6.11.2.7027 there is no annotate icon appers while hover over image in the note. I beleive this occres because of zoom image feature which is introduced in 6.11.2.7027.Out team is heavy annotation users. Is there any way to disable zoom feature and bring back annotate icon which shold appear on hover mouce over the image?
  4. I realize that, for those of us with non-retina monitors and degraded visual acuity, the Apple system fonts are going to pose a consistent problem. One of the ways to help with this is to use the zoom function, but as a writer and editor I often shift between notes, requiring not only a click on the new note, but multiple clicks on the zoom combo to make it visible, doing what needs to be done and then returning to the original note which now needs to be zoomed again. If this were just an occasional operation, it wouldn't be so irritating, but continuously having to bracket a simple task with 3 zoom clicks on either side gets tedious. It would be very nice if there were a way to set a global zoom level that would not involve changing the type size. What I have in mind is an item in preferences that could be set for the display without affecting the print output.
  5. Dear Evernote Team, I am using Evernote to take notes on iPad Pro with Apple Pencil. The zooming feature in sketch has become a very serious problem for me. As I approach to the bottom of the page, it uncontrollably and unintentionally zooms ins/outs which drives me nuts and makes the note taking experience unbearable. Here are two ways to solve this problem: 1) Add a button to lock the zoom (which I think it is very easy to implement code-wise) 2) Change the zoom gesture from two fingers to something like 3 fingers or 4 fingers. I think this will solve the problem of palm effect. Please do not try to solve this problem by some sort of "smart detection of palm position" etc. People change palm positions all the time during a real note taking session. Could you please be kind to tell me if you have any intention to solve this problem in the upcoming release (or patch/update). Or is it going to be as it is in the future releases? Thank you A very curious mind.
  6. This is not exactly an idea but kind of missing feature. Steps to reproduce. 1. Create a table with 2 columns in a note. 2. Zoom the note (say around 2X) 3. Try adjusting the column size of either column. I am not able to adjust the size. I am using latest evernote version on Mac.
  7. I created a Notebook and shared it. One of the Notes I created was edited by someone I shared it with, and now the default zoom is at two steps up from the smallest zoom. I reset the zoom manually to the smallest, then edited some text hoping that this would save the zoom setting. It does not. Every time I re-open that affected Note, the zoom changes to two steps up from the smallest zoom setting. Every other Note in the Notebook is at the smallest zoom setting. How did this happen, and is there anything I can do to change the default zoom of a single Note?
  8. I've just installed Evernote desktop on my new windows 8 laptop, a 13 inch lenovo yoga 2 pro. Almost everything is miniscule, and I can't find any zoom function or way to change the text size (other than editing the notes to alter the font size, which isn't practical). A brief google suggests there is no such feature?! Grateful if anyone has any suggestions, but I'm really disappointed right now because I've been using Evernote for several years and this problem is making it absolutely totally unusable on my new laptop. I've tried the Evernote touch app for windows 8, which has limitations that I'm sure I don't need to enumerate here and additionally seems very unstable. I'm temporarily resorting to using the website to access my note collection, but that doesn't seem sustainable in the long term.

  11. Hi I have one bug, I would like to report: when I am writting with jot, I am using a zoomed window at the bottom of page. I don't use a moving one (play button in left lower corrner), but I want to move the blue rectangel by myself...and it is not possible...in other words, I have to 'click" on the rectangle several times, before it starts to move with my finger... It is very annoying and I cannot use the app... I am using Jot Script, iPad 3 mini and 6.1.1 version of Penult. Is there any help?
  12. Drift and zoom have revolutionised the extent to which I use Penultimate. I take a lot of notes in client meetings that are the basis for later technical writing. After discovering Drift and Zoom I have ditched the paper notebook entirely, and all seems to be well after the first 3 months. A very minor bit of user feedback: the pinch to zoom is touchy to get quickly, and often results in a stroke on the page rather than successful entry into the zoom/drift mode. It would be good to have a setting that gave a few more gesture options to enter this mode - I'd really like a double tap.having to exit zoom/drift to go to next page is a pain. I'd like a button (bottom right - well away from the return button) that you can touch that takes you to the next page, and keeps you in zoom/drift mode.extending that concept, it would be good to be able to lock the zoom/drift mode on for a given note (this would allow you to navigate to another app, and back, without having to re-pinch to get back to writing).Really enjoying the Evernote/Penultimate combination and looking forward to these and more refinements.
  13. I'm having several issues with EN. Three are related to zooming the screen (Safari 7.0.3, OS 10.9.2). There are four issues: Plug-In Causes Delay 1. If the EN plug-in is active, and if several tabs are open, after closing a tab there is a noticeable delay waiting for the next tab to appear (I've tested this widely with Safari on several machines); Zooming Screen Interferes with EN 2. If the EN plug-in is activated (in pref/ext) after a series of tabs are loaded clicking on the EN elephant in the menubar may have no effect- I've noticed this occurs most of the time but not all the time and I don't know what makes a difference; 3. Similarly with activating the plug-in after tabs are loaded using the contextual menu (right click) will show that an action choice is available, but the choice is not actually executed; 4. Clicking the elephant icon will not bring up the pop-up that appears from the right if Safari screen is set to zoom more than 100%. So it's a quandary. I'm preparing a new reference book on tropical plants and EN has made the process hugely easier, especially in the field. I really like and use EN. I am a 'premium' member. It works great on the iPhone. On the other hand, 100% view on Safari just will not work for me as I cannot read the screen unless it's 130% minimum (and setting a minimum font size is one possibility but it has mixed results including loss of content in some situations). Modern 27" iMacs have so much real estate that even with 130% zoom there is plenty of room to display content. It's possible that a custom CSS will move the ball forward but again that could alter the content of a website, so to be considered a last resort. I'm posing this both to alert the smart guys at EN but also to see if anyone else has seen these issues, or if anyone else has eyesight issues that require a zoomed screen? I can easily ignore issue #1. But the other three all ride on the zoom issue and I don't see a workaround? Perhaps this is operator error but if so I sure don't see it?
