  1. I copy and paste links to lots of things, but that disables word wrap. This makes it unpleasant to use. Is there any way to make this work?
  2. I just updated to 5.7.0 on Mac and now my text no longer wraps
  3. New behaviour of tables is completely unusable. Resizing the window causes words to wrapp letter by letter. What happened? Columns should resize according to content, like it used to in previous versions. I need big tables, like 20 columns or so. I don't do anything with tables that mess up the content when I resize a window. Even adjusting the width of single columns doesn't work properly. I hope this gets fixed or gets back to a more html-like style. Using Evernote 6.0.5 for mac.
  4. Purpose: Need help fixing a problem. Version: 5.7.2 for Mac Problem: I just upgraded my Evernote Mac app to version 5.7.2. After the upgrade, I noticed a problem with two of my recently-created notes: Text continues to the right off the page (so I have to scroll to the right to see it). I have not seen this problem in the Evernote Mac app before. The two recently-created notes that have the problem are nearly identical in format to about 10 other notes that I also created recently. However, those 10 other notes don't have the problem. In all the notes mentioned above, I use bulleted lists and have text in various font sizes, ranging from 13 to 36. I tried to fix the problem by selecting all the text in one of the affected notes, and then clicking Format > Simplify Formatting. After I did that, all the text in the note became font size 13. However, the problem still remained. This is as much detail as I can think of. Does someone know why this issue is occurring and how to fix it? The end result I need is to be able to view all text within a note by simply scrolling up and down - not needing to scroll to the right. My final test: I just copied the text I just wrote in this forum post and pasted it into a new note. The note looks fine and does not have the problem. Thanks. Shawn
  5. Hi, Has anyone else noticed this. Text wrapping isn't working correctly. I'm noticing this in some clipped notes and hand written notes. It wants to wrap at full screen size! Anyone else having this issue?
  6. This morning I upgraded to Evernote v5.7.2 for Mac, and after notes were migrated, text no longer wraps. Existing text no longer wraps in existing notes (boo).New text, typed or pasted, DOES correctly wrap in new notes (yay).New text, typed or pasted does NOT wrap in existing notes (boo).I see that this has been sort of an on and off complaint for a couple years now. It never happened for me before today. Looks like reinstalling to an older version has mixed results too. -- Jim
  7. I work in the political arena and use Evernote to both write and help deliver my speeches. When delivering a speech with my android tablet, I would simply open the note in non-edit mode and use pinch-zoom to resize the text to a manageable size and I'm good to go. I recently bought an iPad Mini because I see that Evernote supports iOS more (more features, Penultimate, etc, etc) than android (I'm an android fan, so you must understand how much I appreciate the power of Evernote). For some reason I cannot seem to resize the text on the iPad and have the text reflow or word wrap without it going beyond the size of the screen. When giving a speech making eye contact with the audience is fundamental, and having text that is too small makes it difficult to glance at the audience and glance back to find your place quickly again (plus some of my more visually challenged colleagues prefer their speech notes to be in large print). The iPad version has the nice Present feature, which would be perfect if you can simply just resize the text (and yes, I have tried to resize the text in the edit mode itself). Am I missing something? All of my colleagues have tablets. I have tried to explain the power of Evernote to them in what we do, the organisational abilities impress them, but fail every time when it comes to delivering our speeches.
