O administrador da conta poderá remover e adicionar usuários da mesma forma. 20) Não consigo atribuir um notebook do business usando usando o clearly. É possível?Você poderá alterar as configurações do acesso à conta do Evernote pelo Clearly através de clicar com o botão do lado direito do mouse e selecionar Opções. Answer: With Evernote Business, administrators can rename tags by going to the Admin Console ---> Manage Tags. Then, you find the tag you want to edit and click the pencil icon to make the name change. Question: Do you have a calendar function for Evernote or an app that integrates with Evernote? Answer: We do not have a calendar function natively to Evernote. I would recommend looking at the Evernote Trunk (trunk.evernote.com) at our third party integrations that may have the functionality that you are looking for and integrate into Evernote. Question: I want to be able to share a business notebook to a client and give them access to view my notes and documents, but not change any notes. But, I do want to give them the ability to add images back to the notebook. Is this possible? Answer: You can always share a notebook to the client and give them "View Access" on the permissions, but this would restrict them from being able to add any images to the notebook. If you give them "Modify Access" you would be able to have the client add images, but they would also be able to edit the notes as well. Question: Does Evernote Business have a notebook limit? Answer: Yes. You can have 250 personal notebooks and 250 joined / shared notebooks at a time connected to your account. Question: If I upgrade from a personal to a business account, how are existing notebooks handled? Answer: Existing notebooks would be considered personal notebooks. You can then create business notebooks and move the appropriate content over into the business notebook once you have joined the business account. Question: Is there a way to create a template library where I would have a pre-formated template that my field staff could copy to work with their clients? Answer: One way you could accomplish this would be to create a notebook that you publish into the business library that you give only "View only" access. Then your field staff could copy the note from this notebook into another business notebook they have access to and make the appropriate changes to the note. Question: If we close our Evernote account, how do we get the data? Answer: If you need to get your data out of the Evernote account, you can go to the Admin Console ----> Manage Notebooks. On this screen, click the notebook you wish to export, and in the popup box for the notebook, you will see an option to Export Notes from the notebook. This will allow you to export the data from each business notebook. Question: Can you talk about how Evernote works with other apps? Answer: There are various apps that integrate into Evernote and Evernote Business. The best place to see the select of the apps that integrate into Evernote is by going to the Evernote Trunk (trunk.evernote.com).

Clique no link Exportar notas. 6. Existe a possibilidade de integrar o EN com uma conta Exchange da Microsoft? No momento, não oferecemos integração do Evernote com o Microsoft Exchange. 7. Como funciona o gerenciamento de conhecimento com o Evernote Business? O Evernote Business lhe permite compartilhar arquivos e informações atualizadas por toda a empresa. Os cadernos criados, somente com texto, caixas de marcação, lembretes, etc., sem nenhum anexo, consomem espaço? Cadernos com textos consomem pouquíssimo espaço. 12. Os arquivos anexados ao Evernote permanecem no local de origem, ou seja no meu servidor, correto? Sim. Ao menos que você remova o arquivos do seu servidor, eles permanecerão lá. A vantagem de usar o Evernote Business como repositório central de informações, é ter todas as suas informações disponíveis na nuvem - e assim, acessíveis de onde quer que você esteja e desde qualquer dispositivo móvel. Sou um usuário premium e "convenci" alguns colegas de trabalho a contratarem a ferramenta também, porém quando compartilhamos cadernos, apenas o dono do caderno pode manipular tais etiquetas...gostaria de saber como padronizariamos isto com o evernote bussines, ex.: como evitar que o usuário A coloque a etiqueta "Fulano de Tal" em uma nota e o usuário B também coloque uma etiqueta chamada "fulanodetal" na mesma nota ? Com o Evernote Business, o administrador da conta tem o poder de gerenciar as etiquetas e alterar eventuais erros. Uma opção adotada por alguns de nossos clientes para padronizar etiquetas é criar uma nota com todas as etiquetas padrão da empresa divididas por tema. Conforme as etiquetas vão sendo usadas, o próprio Evernote te ajuda a completar a etiqueta para evitar erros. Ou seja, quanto mais notas voce tiver, menores as chances de categorias diferentes aparecerem. 15. Existe algum local/site que possua alguns templates para reuniões, planejamento, etc? Quem tem conta premium e a empresa vai adquirir o business, tem que criar uma nova conta? Para obter todos os benefícios do Evernote, recomendamos que você use a sua conta existente para o Business. O Evernote ainda não permite a edição de uma mesma nota por duas pessoas ao mesmo tempo, porém permite que outras pessoas acessem uma nota recém atualizada de forma muito rápida. Os cadernos de negócios são marcados como off-line automaticamente ou o usuário tem de fazê-lo? Do seu dispositivo móvel, cadernos offline deverão ser “marcados” pelo próprio usuário. 20. Tenho o premium pago para o ano todo. Se mudar para business agora como mensal como fica o saldo? Te enviaremos um código para você, ou usar o restante do seu saldo no futuro, ou transferir este crédito para um amigo. Durante o processo de assinatura você terá a opção de usar uma conta do Evernote já existente. Dessa forma, se você já for usuário gratuito ou Premium, sua conta será atualizada para business e todas as suas notas e conteúdo existentes permanerão na sua conta, dentro de Cadernos Pessoais. Todos os usuários que você adicionar à conta também vão ter essa mesma opção. Segue abaixo o passo a passo: 1. Visite o site do Evernote Business http://evernote.com/intl/pt-br/business/ insira o seu endereço de email profissional no campo "iniciar" e clique na seta verde. 2. Clique no botão "usar uma conta do Evernote existente" (caso já possua uma conta do Evernote gratuito ou Premium) ou preencha o formulário se desejar criar uma nova conta . O Administrador terá acesso ao Console Administrativo, onde poderá convidar os outros usuários. Podemos acrescentar e retirar usuários e os valores refletem a quantidade corrente do mês? Sim, se você pagar por mês com o cartão de crédito: Você será cobrado por um usuário (o Administrador) que assim que a conta do Business é criada. Suas informações de pagamento serão registradas e o seu cartão de crédito será faturado automaticamente pelo preço mensal total a cada vez que um usuário ingressa no seu Business. No início do próximo mês, o seu cartão será faturado uma única vez para todos os usuários ativos na sua conta do Business. Você pode adicionar novas posições em sua conta, a qualquer momento, através do seu Console Administrativo. Não há nenhuma pro rata para meses usados parcialmente. Pagando anualmente com cartão de crédito: Você será cobrado por um usuário (o Administrador) que assim que a conta do Business é criada. Posso manter minha conta Free ou Premium e me vincular a conta Business (a ideia é manter minha notas pessoais como estão)! Se sua empresa optar pelo Evernote Business e convidá-lo a ingressar na conta, você terá a opção de atualizar sua conta free ou Premium para Business durante o processo de assinatura. Seu conteúdo pessoal – permanecerá absolutamente igual (sim, você terá todos os benefícios de uma conta Premium) e você também terá acesso à todas as funções do Business, inclusive poderá criar notas e cadernos de negócios. O Evernote Business possibilita que você tenha seus cadernos pessoais e de negócios em uma única conta, porém seu conteúdo pessoal permanece privado e sua empresa jamais poderá acessá-lo. Não, no Evernote Business se você tiver a permissão para editar notas, poderá incluir e excluir etiquetas livremente em uma nota sem comprometer seu conteúdo. Você pode usar etiquetas para associar notas à categorias, memórias, local, etc. Inclusive, muitos de nossos clientes business utilizam as etiquetas para fazer gestão de projetos e atribuir listas de tarefas a um determinado membro da equipe. 3) Qual a diferença de preço entre o Evernote Premium e o Evernote Business? O Evernote Premium custa 10 reais mês enquanto o Evernote Business custa 20 reais por usuário por mês. O preco anual do premium é R$90,00. O Evernote Business custa R$240,00 por usuario, por ano. A diferença fundamental é que o Evernote Business é faturado diretamente para a empresa enquanto o Evernote Premium é pago pelo próprio usuário. 4) Posso migrar de uma conta Evernote Business para uma conta Evernote Premium? Ao cancelar a conta Business, sua conta será automaticamente alterada para uma conta gratuita. Antes de fazer o cancelamento, recomendamos que você exporte todos os seus Cadernos de Negócios ou migre notas de negócios para Cadernos Pessoais. Todo o seu conteúdo pessoal permancerá intacto. Você poderá atualizar sua conta gratuita para Premium. 5) que acontece se eu migrar do business para uma conta gratis? Sua conta sera atualizada para uma conta gratuita. A) Caso você seja o administrador da conta: basta exportar o conteúdo dos seu cadernos de negócio ou convertê-los em cadernos pessoais, e pronto! Todas as informações da sua empresa permanecerão com você. Caso você seja um funcionário de uma empresa: todas as suas notas pessoais permanecem com você, mas as anotações de negócio são propriedade da empresa e não estarão disponíveis para você após o encerramento de sua conta Evernote Business. 6) como faço para fazer backup das informações do evernote localmente? Para exportar todas as notas de Caderno de Negócios como arquivo de backup Evernote (formato .enex ou HTML), faça o seguinte: Clique no Caderno de Negócios para visualizar seus detalhes. Clique no link Exportar notas. 7) como faço para ler as informações salva em .enex ? Para visualizar arquivos em formato .enex é necessário abrir com o próprio Evernote. 8) Duas pessoas conseguem trabalhar em uma mesma nota ao mesmo ao tempo. As modificações não irão subscrever as outras? Duas pessoas não conseguem trabalhar ao mesmo tempo em uma mesma nota. Cuando tenemos un documento de word o cualquier tipo de documento que queremos adjuntar a una nota, al adjuntarlo, tendremos una copia exacta del documento dentro de nuestra nota, no un enlace al mismo (A menos que sea un enlace a Google drive o Dropbox , si el documento es muy grande). Si deseas trabajar en el documento puedes abrirlo, haciendo click derecho sobre el mismo, puedes hacer los cambios que necesites hacer y al hacer click en guardar en el menú de archivo, los cambios se guardarán directamente en tu nota en Evernote. 5) Yo asistí al Evernote meetup en Ciudad de México, ¿podrían darnos un mes de Evernote business para evaluar? Absolutamente aquí tienes acceso a uno. Puedes crear una Libreta con todos tus formatos o templates y luego copiarlos y trasladarlos a una nota en la que estés trabajando relativa a una nueva reunión. A: You can restrict who has access to a particular notebook so you could restrict who is able to see the notebook in this way. That said, you can encrypt specific text within a note, but you cannot password protect an entire notebook. Q: Should I copy notes from personal notebooks to business notebooks, or move the notes? A: You can do either option. Copying the notes from personal to business notebooks will allow you to keep a copy of the note in your personal notebook and place a copy in the business notebook. If you move the note, it will remove it from the personal notebook and put it into the business notebook. Q: When I upgrade my Evernote account to Evernote Business, how does the upload capacity work? A: With Evernote Business, you will have 2GB of upload capacity for your personal notes and 2GB of upload capacity for the business per user. The business upload capacity is a shared upload limit. If you have 10 users on your business account, you would have 20GB of upload capacity for the entire business. Q: What is the cost of Evernote Business? À medida que os funcionários se juntam à conta Evernote Business suas contas se tornam Business com todos os direitos associados, como p.ex., 2GB de transferencia de dados Pessoais, contribuição de outros 2GB para a conta Business, notas de até 100MB, etc. - Existe algum limite quanto ao numero de usuários numa conta Evernote Business? A: Some customers like to use a checkout system where they can either change the title of the note, or add a tag, that says 'In-progress.' What level of support is available for Evernote Business (e.g., chat, phone) and what are the hours? A: A business account comes with our highest tier of support, the Customer Success team. Can this program work off line instead of going thru the Internet for access to your info? At my work there is not always an Internet signal. A: All of your Evernote content is available offline from our desktop software. On mobile, you would need to designate notebooks that would want offline access to from the settings option. Q: If I have 2 GB in Evernote does require 2 GB to view all off-line. A: The Data quota counts data that you put in to the account; you can pull content out, or download attachments, as much as you need Q: Is the mobile app for business different than the free mobile app? A: No, Evernote Business users use the same software on all of our platforms; they will just see extra options. Q: Can you notify people that a note has been edited, via email or a push notification on a mobile app? Is there a way within a note to create a thread that notifies specific users to when a new note has been created? i.e. in a design review process? A: Currently, you can receive updates on any notebooks that you have access to from the activity feed in our desktop software. Click the Radar icon to see the 50 most recent updates. Q: Can we integrate with Microsoft SharePoint or Salesforce? A: At this time we do not have a direct integration with either of those services. A: At this time, there is not. Q: If a business wants to fund the development of a function, i.e. email/push notification, do you do that? Can you restrict it if that is possible? A: Yes, this is possible, and there is not a way to restrict it. We designed this software for the majority of people who are trying to do the right thing. A: While the maximum size for any one note is 100MB for Business users, the maximum number of notes that can be placed in one notebook is very high, 100,000. This number is also the maximum number of notes you can have in your account. Q: Is there a central area for all reminders within all notebooks? A: If you select the view option of 'all notes' from the left hand pane, you will see all of your reminders. Q: Seems like the windows client is way behind what you're showing us, any hope for an update? When can we expect voice to text from Evernote? A: We are always working hard to improve our software on all clients. That said, we can't provide a specific date of when a new feature may or may not come out. Q: What is the level of security compared to other services where we share information on the cloud? I work in the medical field and security is a prime concern. A: Only an admin can completely delete notes from Business Notebooks. They can do this by visiting the admin console. Q: How do you move notes from one notebook to another? A: You can drag and drop, right click a single note and select move, or select multiple notes and use the move dialog that pops up. Q: How did you add color to the notebooks? A: You can change the color of text by selecting the color icon from editing palate. Q: Ho do you get rid of a notebook? Not in Business in in Premium? A: Right click the notebook and select delete. Q: Do you know of anyone who has used the business account as a helpdesk or issue tracking system? Any advice on setup for that purpose? A: We have worked with a couple of customers who use Evernote in this way. It's best accomplished with tags and saved searches. Q: If converting over from a well-used personal account, can a personal notebook be converted to a shared business notebook? A: Yes, currently how that works is you would create a new business notebook, open the existing personal notebook, select all notes by using command+A, and then use the move dialog to move them to the business notebook you just created. Q: Do you support Boolean logic in searches? A: At this time we do not. Q: Do you support roles? A: At this time, we do not. Q: Can you create different levels of account access so that employees cannot add or delete notes or access certain notebooks? A: You can set the level of access for an individual notebook with levels like read only or modify. An admin can also change the access level for anyone on any notebook. Q: When I share via URL - can anyone beyond those I send the link see my Notebook? A: We do our best to disguises public links so that it's hard to stumble upon them, but please note that sharing via URL does create a public link.

Q: Is there a feature that would allow authorized users to only view a note, but note edit or delete the content of the note? Is there also a way that they can add to the note, but not delete anything form the note? A: You can share a notebook with varying levels of access from read only to modify, to modify and invite others. However, we don't have a way for someonone to be able to add content but not make edits. Q: Is there non-profit pricing available? A: At this time, the only discount we offer is for verified educational institutions. Q: Security question - encryption of information at rest on ever note's system, is it an option? A: We encrypt data in transit, not at rest. This fuels a lot of the 'magic' of Evernote, such as making text in images searchable. That said, if you select text in Evernote, then right click, you'll see the option to set a password and encrypt text. This would make the text encrypted at rest (and also not searchable). Q: How about sharing? Sharing is a big part of the personal product. But we might be concerned about sharing confidential information on the business side. Can this be managed by admin? A: With Evernote Business, you can share a notebook with one person, multiple people, or everyone (via the business library). An admin can login to the Admin console and update any user's editing or sharing options on any notebook. Q: Since folders are not your favorite way to store stuff is the ""search"" and "attributes" methods the most useful way to find stuff? A: We rely heavily on search and tags to find the data you're looking for. We also have on certain Evernote clients the ability to create shortcuts to your most often used data. Q: Can I drag and drop pics or documents into a notebook? A: On our desktop clients, yes. Q: So if a team of 10 users joins we would have 20GB of storage per month as a team, correct? What happens if you go over or need to go over? A: Correct, with Evernote Business each user gets 2GB of upload quota per month for personal notebooks, and then the business account as a whole gets 2GB per person in a "family" style share plan. If you anticipate going over your quota, please contact the Evernote Business Success Team. Q: Is the search functionality OCR - and is this spanning all documents, or a limited # of documents? Or is it all done by tagging the document? A: Evernote does it's best to make text in images, pdfs, and office documents show up in search. This is done automatically, in the background. Q: How do you reset your password if forgotten? A: Please contact our support team here: http://evernote.com/contact/support/ Q: When you send yourself an email, where do you put the name of the folder you want the email to go into? A: By adding @NotebookName, where NotebookName is the name of the destination notebook, you'll file it into a specific notebook. By adding #Tag Name, you'll also be able to add tags. Note that you can't create tags this way, only add to existing tags. Q: Can you explain tags more? Also I am interested in the mobile version and multiple pics can be uploaded in a single note. also how to write text on a note (not draw). A: Tags are a great way to organize yourself without relying on strict, conventional file storage systems. For example, instead of having one notebook per client, you can have one notebook for contracts, and one for correspondence (and so on). Then, just tag the relevant customer on each note. If you ever need to see all of the notes concerning a specific client, you can search for the tag.

Answer: This is interesting feedback. We do not talk about upcoming features or product releases, but I will pass along your feedback to our internal teams for consideration and discussion. Question: What would stop a single employee from wiping out your entire data if they wanted to delete or move data? Are there any permissions based locking that can be done? Answer: With Evernote Business, the only people who can delete notes entirely would be the administrators on the account. Users can put notes in the trashcan, but a business administrator would be the only person able to delete the note entirely. You can also give users view only access which means they could only view a particular notebook and not modify the notebook at all. Question: What is the business upload quota per user? Answer: You will get 2GB of upload quota per user on the account. If your account has 10 users, you would have 20GB of upload quota for the month that is shared across the entire account. Question: Can a user signup to a business account with their personal Evernote account? Answer: Yes! If you signup for Evernote Business with your existing Evernote account, you will have access to your existing account and the new business notebooks at the same time with the same login. It is important to know that personal information is always personal and cannot be viewed by the business. Question: Does Evernote Business support Single Sign On? Answer: No. I will pass along your feedback to my team for future consideration. Question: Are there more sort options for business notebooks? Answer: With Evernote Business, you do gain the business library which is a place that you can see the various notebooks that have been published to the business and join or leave the notebooks as necessary. There are not any additional sorting options beyond this area. Question: Can you give a high level overview of the API? Answer: I would recommend going to our developer site for more information on the API. http://dev.evernote.com/ Question: I have a business with multiple clients and want to use Evernote Business to update my clients on new information. Is this possible? Answer: There are a few ways you could accomplish parts of what you are asking. I would recommend contacting the Success Team to get more feedback on this situation. Question: Can the same note exist in more than one notebook? Answer: Yes. You can have the same note in multiple notebooks. Question : Can we connect Evernote Business to the Microsoft Active Directory? Answer: No, Evernote Business does not integrate with Microsoft Active Directory. Question: Can you create folders inside of notebooks for further organization? Answer: You cannot create folders, but you can create notebook stacks. To create a notebook stack, just select the notebook you wish to be in a stack and drag it to another notebook. Once you release the notebook on top of another notebook, a stack is created. Stacks are only a personal organizational method and are not shared to other users. Question: Can Evernote help with email overload? Answer: Yes! Internally, we have seen the number of emails go down significantly by having our employees join business notebooks where information can be easily shared. Question: Is there a chat function built into Evernote Business? Answer: There is not a chat function built into Evernote Business. Q: Is there a calendar in Evernote? A: Evernote does not currently have calendar integration. Q: When docs are uploaded, can you also download on other devices? A: Yes, anything put into Evernote can be accessed everywhere you install Evernote. Q: What happens if someone's usage flucuates month by month? A: The monthly quota is a maximum, and it does not roll over. Q: Does Evernote Business support Excel files? A: Yes. All Microsoft Office documents (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and their OSX and Open Office equivalents become searchable. Q: If you make edits to an Excel file that is attached to a note, will it automatically sync or do you have to save it on your computer and attach again? A: When you open an Excel file from Evernote, all you have to do is save. It saves the copy in Evernote, and you don't have to attach it again. Q: Can the administrator only allow cetain users to see specific notebooks? As an administrator can I see who my employees have shared a note with? Then who those people may have share note with as well? A: An adminstrator can remove a notebook from an account after it has been shared. It's up to whoever creates the notebook in the first place to decide who has rights before the fact. Q: What happens if someone modifies a note, is there a trace? A: We have a feature called Note History which, while not as granular as something like Google Docs, does provide a history of the note's edits. It takes a snapshot every at a minimum of every 8 hours. It doesn't currently, however, tell you who made what edits. Q: Can you demo Skitch? A: You can get Skitch for free at Evernote.com. Q: What happens when someone deletes a note? A: It goes into the business trash, which only an admin can permanently delete. Q: Can you merge tags? A: No, you cannot merge tags at this time. Q: Can you share a notebook as a business user to someone that is in an individual user? for example - some people in the company are very minor users and do not need full access. is this possible? Or can you only share with other business users within your business? A: If you set up the individual user with a free account, you can share individual notebooks with them without granting them full access to the business account. Q: How do you ensure the protection of company proprietary information? A: Evernote Business was designed for people who trust their employees. Much like you can't prevent someone from forwarding an email out of your business, you can't stop someone from copying data into a personal notebook. Q: How does Evernote Business provide configuration management over documents? A: If you mean templates, we have a 3rd party provider called KustomNote that provides that service. Additionally, you can create a note that has all the fields you want filled out and then copy it multiple times. If you keep all of those copies in a notebook called 'templates,' your team will know how to fill out a document. Q: How does Evernote ensure malicious users from outside the company are not able to 'hack' into the company notebooks? A: We use industry standard security tactics to prevent unauthorized access to your data. We also recommend that you ask your employees to use smart password protection policies. For example, don't use the same password for multiple sites. Q: How can you prevent users (admins or others) from deleting business notebooks that the company wants to retain? A: Only an admin can permanently delete a notebook. When an admin deletes a notebook, it's gone forever. It's important to make smart decisions about who has admin access. Q: Do users associated to a business account get premium individual accounts automatically or do they need to purchase a premium account separately? A: Users can use existing accounts or create new ones. If they use existing accounts, they are basically upgrading to a higher tier of service. There is no interruption in the personal side, and they take that information with them when they leave the business. Q: What is the cost of maintaining a business account? A: $10 per person, or $120 per year. Q: Can OCR be copied and pasted? A: No, at this point it cannot. Q: Are pictures of text searchable? A: Yes, as well as the text in PDFs and office documents. Q: Can the auto-enroll be turned off? A: Yes, and it is off by default. Q: Is a trial available? A: We find that our free service is a great indication of how Evernote might fit into your workflow, so at this time we do not offer a trial. Q: Do you integrate with Box? A: Evernote Business works hand in hand with a lot of other services you might use. For example, if your company already uses Dropbox, you can paste a dropbox link into a note and then give feedback and context without sending a bunch of emails around. At this time, we do not have a Box.com integration. Q: Are there topic based help videos for users to learn more about or brush up on features? A: Everything that you have access to is downloaded to your desktop client. While we have redundant backups, you could also back up your hard drive Q: Any reason to have Evernote buiness as an independent business consultant? A: We want you to use the Evernote service that best fits your needs. If you work by yourself, and don't frequently hit the data quotas, then our standard Premium tier might be a better fit. Q: Can you give more examples of emails being forwarded and automatically going to a notebook? A: Receipts, or contracts are great examples, you can automatically forward them in. Another example would be for to do items. If your boss emails you and asks you to take care of an issue, you can forward that into your To Do notebook and know that you haven't lost track of it. Q: Other than read only protection. how are the notes protected from an employee who has permission to edit the notes? A: Only an admin can permanently delete a note, and our servers take snap shots of notes to preserve it's Note History. Question: What's the difference between Evernote web and Evernote Desktop? Answer: Evernote web is a web interface that you can use anywhere you have a web browser. Evernote desktop is an application you can download to use on a Windows or Mac client. Question: How do you create to do lists? Answer: You can create to do lists by creating a note that uses the checkboxes. This option is displayed at the top of a note where you see the various other options to format text. Question: How do I maintain a specific order of notes within a notebook? Answer: You can maintain an order on notes by using a titles of notes that are in alphabetical order and then sorting the note view by the title. Question: Can only administrators publish notebooks to the business library? Answer: No. Anyone who is a part of the Evernote Business Account can publish a notebook to the business library. Question: Do edits or changes to shared notes automatically update that note for everyone? Answer: Any edits that you make to a shared note will update to our servers when a sync occurs. Then once the other user syncs their Evernote client, it will show the changes. Question : What is the Trunk? Answer: The Evernote Trunk is an area where third party developers apps are displayed. Since we have an open API, we have several apps that integrate with Evernote that can be found in this area. Question: Is it possible to use a scanner to "auto upload" notes into Evernote? Answer: There are several scanners that can upload documents directly to Evernote. Answer: Evernote Business takes the features of Evernote Premium and expands on the features with additional functionality that is beneficial for collaborating on information within groups and organizations. Answer: You can add and remove people from an Evernote Business account by going to the Admin Console ----> Manage Users section. Question: Is the business data stored on the cloud or on each user's hard drive? Answer: You can select business notebooks for offline use by selecting the notebook to be an Offline notebook within the mobile client. Everyone has different methods for organizing their notebooks and in order to prevent confusion from people moving notebooks to various stacks, the stack view is not set for all users but rather just a view for the individual. Question: Can we copy entire notebooks to new notebooks? Answer: Yes. You can open a notebook, select all the notes, then right click on the notes to copy the notes to a different notebook. Question: Does related results work on the iPhone or iPad? Answer: No. This is a great feature suggestion though. I will pass along your suggestion for future consideration to my internal teams. Question: Is there a volume discount for Evernote Business? Answer: At this time, no, there is no volume discount. The price is $10 per user per month. Question: Does Evernote Business work on the iPhone? Answer: Yes. Evernote Business works everywhere that Evernote works, which is most major platforms like iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac. Question: Which browsers does related notes work with? Answer: Related notes is available, via the Evenote Web Clipper, on Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Question: Do shared notebooks keep tags when sharing the notebook? Answer: Yes. When you share a notebook, you are also sharing the tags. Question: If I decided to leave Evernote Business, how could I retrieve my uploaded data? Answer: When you leave, you'll retain access to only what is in your personal notebooks. You'll be downgraded to our free tier and can use our other tiers of service at your convenience. Question: What apps integrate with Evernote Business? Answer: Currently, the 3rd party apps that integrate are: Azendoo, LiveMinutes, KustomNote, Zapier, Uber Conference, and FileThisFetch. Question: How do you find support for Evernote Business? Answer: You can reach out to the Customer Success team by going to the Admin Console and on the Account Summary page towards the bottom you will see an option to contact the Success team. Answer: No, the library is for notebooks that you want the whole company to have access to. Instead, create a business notebook and only share it with those that need access. Question: Can checkboxes within a note be sorted? Answer: No, they would need to be sorted manually. Question: Can you publish videos into the business library? Answer: You can attach a video to a note either by attaching it, like you would an email, or by including a link to where users can find the video on the web. End users can then either click the link to watch the video, or download the attachment and watch it on their computer. Question: I have many clients and I want to setup a private password to secure notebooks for them. Is this possible and what is the cost? Answer: If you bought your clients a seat, you could share related notebook with just the correct client. It will be password protected in that both parties have to login to Evernote to see the notebook. Question: Can a client email documents to a specific client folder I have setup for them? Answer: If you provide them with the email address, and the notebook name yes. They will just need to include @NotebookName in the subject of the emails. Question: How can I put a PDF into a note? Answer: You can either put it directly in the note, as you would a picture, or you can attach it like you would in an email. Question: We use Evernote for an image library for inspirational photos and client projects. How would using Evernote Business enhance our image library? Answer: Combined with the web clipper, it become very easy to see something on the Internet and the store and file it away correctly. Additionally, by utilizing tags, you can worry less about which notebook a photo is filled into. For example, if you tag all of your inspiring photos with #Inspire, you can file the photos whenever you want, but call them all up with one search term.

Question: When searching for documents, does it include your business notebooks? Answer: Yes! When you search, it will search through the business notebooks that you have joined to your Evernote account. Question: What happens to an employee's personal notebooks if they leave the company? Answer: Personal notebooks remain with the user. Any personal notebooks that a user has, will stay with that user, while all the business notebooks will be removed from their account. Question: Does Evernote Business support offline access? Answer: Yes! You can select business notebooks to support offline access. Question: How protected is the data that we put into notebooks? Answer: Shared personal notebooks are not affected when a user joins Evernote Business. Question: Are there any additional security features in Evernote Business? Answer: Evernote Business allows for business information to remain in the business. This means if you have user who leaves the account, you can remove the business notebooks from their Evernote account and then retain the business notebooks to share to other users within your organization. Also, Evernote Business does not allow for a user to empty the trash, but it allows for an administrator time to review the notes in the trashcan to see if they should be deleted. Question: Does Evernote Business handle simultaneous editing of the same note? Answer: No. The best way to think about Evernote Business is that you are collaborating with your team on a notebook level. Each member of your team can add their notes to a particular notebook and then you can have someone curate the notebook to merge notes together. Anyone with modify permissions will be able to edit the same note, but if multiple people edit the same note at the same time, you could encounter sync errors. Question: How do I migrate a single Evernote Premium account to Evernote Business? Answer: You can signup for Evernote Business by going to www.evernote.com/business and clicking the "Get Started" area. Question: Is it possible to have a discussion thread inside a single note? Answer: Yes. Internally, we have used notes to collect feedback for new product features and then our product managers will review the suggestions and write back with comments about suggestions right into the note. The product managers will post their name next to the comment to make it easier to see who is asking or commenting on the feature. Question: If we create a public link for clients to review a note, can we have our branding/logo on it? Answer: No. There is not a way to change the branding at the top of a public link. I will pass this along to our internal teams as a feature request for consideration. Question: Can Evernote replace a CRM system? Answer: We have seen several clients that have used Evernote Business as a way to track client information for sales and marketing. It does take some planning to figure out the best way you want to organize the information and make sure your members are tagging and filing information in a similar method. Question: Can you password protect notebooks? Answer: No, you cannot password protect a notebook. You can password protect data within a note. Question: Can you prevent a user from copying data from a business notebook to their personal notebook? Answer: No, there's no way to block that, much like there's no way to prevent someone from forwarding an email outside of the company, or taking a picutre of their computer screen. Question: How will you notify Tim that he needs to do a task? Answer: One way you could notify Tim is to tag a now with a specific tag that Tim is reviewing. It will not notify him of the update, but if he has a saved search on his system with this tag, he could periodically search his account for notes with this tag. I have also seen people use a specific notebook to organize tasks for a specific group. Once the task is completed, they move this task to another notebook for the next group to review. Question: Can a note exist in both a personal notebook and a business notebook? Answer: Yes. You could copy a note from a personal notebook to a business notebook and in doing so create an identical note in both the personal and business notebooks. Question: When a user leaves an organization, are the business notebooks removed from the users account? Answer: Yes. When an administrator removes access to an individual, the business notebooks will be removed from their Evernote account on their account when they sync the next time. Their personal notebooks will always remain with the user. Question: If someone is removed from the business account, can administrators see what notebooks the user was a part of? Answer: No, there is not a way to see which notebooks the user was joined. Administrators can see the notebooks the person was the creator of in the Manage Notebook area of the Admin Console and change those notebooks to the new employee's account. Question: Are read only business notebooks protected so no one is able to export the notebook? Answer: Any shared Notebook, regardless the permissions granted, e.g., "view only", "modify & share", can be exported by the person the Notebook is shared with. Question: What features does Evernote Business include? Answer: Evernote Business includes many great features, such as Business-wide Notebook sharing, smart data ownership, and simple user and data management capabilities. For a complete list of features, visit http://evernote.com/business/features/. Question: Is there a plan to support user groups? Answer: Evernote Business can be tailored for use with any size Business or user group. At this time, there is no plan to support user groups outside of further developing the Evernote Business product. Question: Can stacks be created in the Business Library? Answer: At this time, Business Notebooks cannot be "stacked" in the Business Library. They can, however, only be recommended in the Business Library via the Admin Console. Question: I just signed up for Evernote Premium, if I join Evernote Business, what happens to my Premium subscription? Answer: Upon joining an Evernote Business account, Evernote Premium users will receive a redemption code for the amount of time remaining on the Premium account that they may use to re-upgrade to Premium should they ever leave the Business, or to give to a friend or family member. Question: Are the shortcuts on Evernote customizable per user? Answer: Yes, via the preference pane for the desktop version of Evernote, a user may customize the default shortcuts. Question: What is the size limit for a note? Answer: 100MB Question: If someone moves notes into a Business Notebook, can that user remove the information from that Business Notebook? Answer: Only a Business Admin can permanently remove information from the Business account. A user may move information from a Business Notebook to the trash, but will not be able to delete it. Question: How can you limit duplicate content in an account? Answer: The best way to limit duplicate content in an account is to make you actively sync your Evernote before and after updating your Notes – particularly if you are utilizing multiple devices. This will ensure you are always working on the latest version of your Note, and thus not accidentally duplicating information. Question: If a user leaves the Business, does their account go back to a Personal account? Answer: When a user leaves the Business account, their account is downgraded to the free version of Evernote. If they were a Premium user prior to joining the Business, they can use the code we emailed at the time of the Business upgrade to return their account to Premium status. Otherwise, a user can upgrade their account to Premium by visiting www.evernote.com/premium. Question: When will Evernote support offline access on ChromeBook? Answer: By design Chrome OS / Chromebooks are only able to run web apps. Therefore, Chromebook users are limited to accessing Evernote via the regular web view. Question: Can a business designate more than one Admin? Answer: Yes! Via the "Manage Users" tab in the Admin Console, Businesses can designate any user on the account as an Admin. Question: Does Evernote collaborate on Google Docs vs share a note for collaboration? Answer: While there is not a direct way to collaborate on Google Docs through Evernote, you can share the Google Doc link through a shared Note – allowing an additional, searchable space for notes and ideas. Question: If I share a note, there are options for the person to share via Twitter or Facebook. Can I turn that feature off? Answer: Yes, you can "turn off" the ability for a user to share your shared Note via Twitter or Facebook by modifying the Share Settings of the Notebook. Make sure the person you are sharing the Notebook with is only able to View Notes, View Notes and Activity, or Modify Notes, and NOT Modify and Share Others.

Answer : Yes, you can copy a note from a business notebook and place the copy of the note into a personal notebook. Question : If a notebook is in the business library, can you restrict who can join it? Answer : No, you cannot restrict who can join a notebook in the business library. If you are wanting to restrict who can join a notebook, I would recommend sharing the notebook to the individuals instead of publishing it to the business library. Question : Can you restrict notebooks so that some users in the business cannot see specific notebooks? Answer : No, if you wish to restrict specific notebooks that a specific group, then individual share the notebook to the appropriate users instead. Question : Can an administrator restrict which tags are applied to a note in the business notebooks to ensure consistency across users? Answer : Administrators do have the ability to edit and delete tags in business notebooks by going to the Admin Console then the Manage Tags area. Question : Is there a way to color code notes by a particular author instead of clicking the "i" button? Answer : This is not something that is currently supported, but I will pass along this feedback to my internal teams. Question : Can you export a notebook into a PDF format? Answer : No. You can export a notebook into the ".enex" and ".html" format. Question : Is Evernote Business available on Windows 8? Answer : Windows 8 currently supports the ability to view, edit and create notes in all of your Business Notebooks; however, they do not currently support viewing the Business Library or creating new Business Notebooks. You can stay up to date on the supported clients by going to the following page. http://evernote.com/business/guide/ Question : Is there an ability to print an entire notebook? Answer : You can print all the notes within a notebook by selecting all the notes in a notebook, then going to Print. Question : Do notebook stacks exist on mobile platforms? Answer : Business stacks are currently not available on the mobile platform. I am going to pass this feature request to the appropriate internal teams for review. Question : If you signup for Evernote Business with an existing Evernote account, can you share business notebooks using your business email address and personal notebooks with your personal email address? Answer : Yes! In the Personal Account settings, you can set your business address on to your Evernote account. By doing this, you will be able to share personal notes via your personal email address and share business notes via your business address that is listed on your account settings.

Business Notebooks are great for organizing notes at all levels of your organization. The company has the right to access, use, manage and modify any notes that are stored in a Business Notebook, even if the Business Notebook has not been shared or published to the company's Business Library. In this way, administrators could utilize Evernote Business as you are inquiring. Q: How do I recover the data if your data center disappears? A: http://blog.evernote.com/blog/2008/04/15/evernote-privacy-and-security/ Q: Where does the data reside in your servers? How secure is the data ? Can I use my servers? A: http://blog.evernote.com/blog/2008/04/15/evernote-privacy-and-security/ Q: How do you add notes to emails? A: You can use the "Share" option to email a note. When you select this option, you'll be prompted to enter one or more email addresses with which to share the note. You can also add additional text before sending the note via email. This will send the note via email. Q: How can I recover my password? A: If you've forgotten your Evernote password, you can visit our password reset page where you'll be prompted to enter either your Evernote username or the email address associated with your account. After entering one of these, you'll be sent an email containing a unique link to a page where you can choose a new password. Sometimes the email will be sent to your spam or junk folders by your email program, so be sure to check there. If you're still having trouble, contact our support department.

Also, with multiple notebooks, you could specify which notebook you are wanting to search through and narrow down your search to just that particular notebook. Having 1 notebook for a particular group or function does help in getting content in a specific area and using search can make using limited notebooks a viable option. Question : Is the author identified for a note? Answer : Yes. You can find the author of a note by looking at the information area of the specific note. Question : Is the author of a note identified regardless of the method of input (desktop, mobile or audio)? Answer : Yes, the author of a note is determine by the account that creates the note. Question : Can any user add tags in Evernote Business to a note? Answer : Any user can add tags to an Evernote Business note as long as they have modify access to the note.

When you are signed into your Evernote Business account with the Web Clipper on Chrome, you will see a list of your business notebooks that you have modify access to the notebook. Question : Is there a way to reduce the number of notebook that show in the web clipper? I have some notebooks that are historical and no longer are used. Answer : No, this functionality does not exist. Question : What is the difference between a Premium account and a Business account? Answer : Evernote Business has all the features of an Evernote Premium account with the addition of several features that make it easier to manage and simplify Evernote within the workplace. You can see a list of feature of Evernote Business here. http://evernote.com/business/features/ Question : Is there a way to have a local backup? Answer : You have a copy of your notebooks on your local computer. If you would like to create a backup, please contact our Support Team and they will be happy to help you. Question : How could I make a shared notebook for our customers to see articles that we create? Answer : You could create a notebook and individually share the notebook with your customers. This method would allow you to control who is able to see the notebook. The other option would be to share the individual note via URL, which would allow anyone with that URL to view that individual note. Question : If you share a notebook with multiple clients, can they see who else is sharing the notebook? Answer : If a notebook is shared with you, while viewing the notebook you can see who else the notebook is shared with. Question : How do I get the Google search to show Evernote files on the right side of the search? Answer : This is called "Related Notes" and appears when you are signed into the Web Clipper and have the Related Search Results box checked in the Web Clipper. Question : What is the minimum number of users for a business account? Answer : 1 user is the minimum user. For the best experience of Evernote Business, I would recommend having at least 3 users. Question : How can additional users be add to a business account? Answer : To invite additional users to a business, go to the Admin Console and select the Add Users area. Once on this page, enter in the individuals you wish to add to your Evernote Business account. Question : Can the personal notebooks be excluded from the business version? Answer : No, but it is important to realize that Administrator cannot view any of your personal notebook or notes. Any information in personal notebooks is personal and is not accessible by the Evernote Business administrators. Question : Can we have an invoice for the Evernote Business account instead of paying by credit card? Answer : You can sign up for annual invoicing instead of credit card payments. There is a minimum of 5 users to have annual invoicing. Question : Is there an "Alert" function to let others know that new items have been added to a notebook? Answer : There is an activity log you can view by clicking on the satellite dish icon at the top of the Evernote client to see the most recent activity. Question : Can a specific note be shared with someone outside your business organization? Answer : Yes, you can share a specific note with someone outside your organization. Question : How do you ensure that users do not transfer business notes to their personal notes? Answer : If a user moves notes from a business notebook to a personal notebook, the note will appear in the business trash for the administrator to review if the note should be removed from the notebook. Administrators on the Evernote Business account do have the ability to control what information is share via the Manage Notebooks area, but there is not any specific restrictions to prevent someone from moving a business note to a personal notebook. Question : I setup a new business account with a new email rather than my existing Evernote account. Can I change my account so that all my existing notes are in the Evernote Business account? Answer : If you accidentally created an Evernote Business account with a brand new account rather than your existing Evernote account. Contact our support team and we can walk you through the process of switching out the two accounts within your Evernote Business account. Question : If I am an Evernote Business user and I want another person to have view only access, can this user be a free user or do they have to be a part of the business? Answer : You can share a business notebook with anyone, but the other user would need to be a part of the Evernote Business account to see the Business Library and have the Business Premium features. Question : I use Evernote on the Samsung Galaxy, is there any way I can use the stylus to enter handwritten notes? Answer : There is not a method within Evernote to use handwritten notes, but I would recommend looking at the Evernote Trunk where you can find third party applications that use the Evernote open API for a possible option. Question : Is it possible to share a notebook as a business notebook, but limit the users within the business that have access to the notebook? Answer : Yes. The best way to accomplish sharing a notebook to specific individuals rather than the entire business would be to share the notebook to the individuals in the group rather than publishing the notebook to the business library. Question : Can a note be simultaneously edited by two or more parties? Answer : No. This would cause sync errors to occur and you will see a notebook created for the sync error. Evernote works well for collaborating on the notebook level. Internally, we have a notebook that our team will work on together and each of us will put our notes into a specific notebook and then the owner of the notebook can then curate the notes and merge them together into 1 note if necessary. Question : Can I use an existing personal Evernote account when I join Evernote Business? Answer : Absolutely! When you sign up for Evernote Business, there will be an option to use an existing Evernote account through the signup process that will allow you to have access to your personal notes and business notes in the same client. Question : Is there any control over modifying docs that are accessible to others? Answer : You can set permissions on notebooks that you share with others so they can only view a document and note and not modify them. Question : How many administrators can you have on an Evernote Business account and how are they determined? Answer : You can have as many administrators as you would like to your Evernote Business account. Administrators are determined by an administrator giving the administrator rights to a specific individual. We do recommend having a few people as administrators on an account, but limiting the number of administrators to a small number to limit the number of users with the administrator capabilities. Question : How do I move personal notebooks to my new Evernote Business account? Answer : You can move personal notes to business notebooks by selecting all the notes that you wish to move to the business notebook and dragging the notes to the appropriate business notebook. Below, you will find a list of the questions and answers that were asked throughout the presentation. You can find future webinars for Evernote Business at the following link. http://evernote.com/business/resources/webinars/ Question : When I use Evernote on my iPad and do not have an internet connection, I am not able to open up Word documents or PDF files. How can I view this files when I do not have an internet connection? Answer : In order to be able to use files offline, you will need to go to the settings page and select the notebook with the files to be downloaded as an offline notebook. Question : If I am an existing Evernote Premium user and upgrade to Evernote Business, what will happen with the remaining time on my Evernote Premium account? Answer : Good news! You'll get upgraded to Business Premium as part of the company account. If you've purchased a 1 year subscription for Evernote Premium from us and have more than a month of personal Premium service left, we'll send you a code that you can use to upgrade yourself back to Premium should you ever leave the business. You can also pass the code along to a family member, friend, or colleague. Question : On Windows, where do I go to see my Evernote email address to forward content into my Evernote account? Answer : To see your Evernote email address in Windows, go to the Tools menu and then Account Info. On your Account Info screen, you will see the email address to email content into Evernote. Question : How do I email a note into a specific notebook with Evernote Business? Answer : Yes! You can email a note to a specific notebook by using the @ symbol followed by the notebook name in the subject line of the email. Question : With Evernote Premium, if you share a notebook with someone, they are not able to add new tags to notes. Are you able to add new tags to notes with Evernote Business notebooks that you have modify access to? Answer : Yes. With Evernote Business, you can add new tags to business notebooks that you have modify rights to the notebook. Question : If we have existing personal notebooks with content that belongs to the business, how do we move this content into Evernote Business notebooks? Answer : In order to move existing content from personal notebooks to business notebooks, you would need to select the notes that you wish to move to the business notebook and then drag them on to the business notebook you want to add the notes. Question : If there is a note conflict, is there a way to see what content is different on the note verses the conflicted note? Answer : If you see a note conflict, you will see a conflict notebook created and the note within that notebook. Then, you can go to that note that you were working on and compare the two notes. Question : Can I copy or download a notebook on to my computer? Answer : You can right click on a notebook and export the notes of that notebook into a file on your computer. Question : If I want to deactivate my account and remove all the information out of the account, how would I do so? Answer : If you want to remove all the information out of your account, I recommend deleting all of your notes and then making sure to empty the trash. After you have completed this step, you can contact our support team to give you instructions on deactivating your account. Question : Is there a log of activity on the account? Answer : You can see a log of the activity on your account by going to the little satellite dish on the top Evernote client and you will see the latest activity on your account. Question : Can you share a stacked set of notebooks? Answer : You can not share an entire stack of notebooks at one time. You can share each notebook with someone, but how they organize the notebooks is on the individual level. Stacked notebooks are designed to be a personal view of your notebooks. Your ideal way of structuring your notebooks may be completely different than the way another co-worker wants to structure their own notebooks. Question : Is there a way to clip articles on an iPad? Answer : There is not a native way to clip articles on the iPad, but there are a few work arounds. Answer : Only people with whom you share the note link will see the note, however, shared notes are not private. Google and other search engines *will* see your shared note if you publish it to a public Facebook profile, or post the link on another site that is indexed (like Twitter). Question : I see that view only is the minimum restriction that can be on a notebook. Can I block access to specific groups or users? Answer : If you wish to restrict who has access to see specific notebooks, then I would recommend sharing the notebook individually instead of putting the notebook in the business library. Question : What security is in place server-side? It's encrypted in transit, but what about when it is stored? Answer : All sessions, and all data transactions to and from our server take place over SSL. Notes are stored in plain text on our servers (for our indexing algorithm to work), but are encrypted with your keypair. Access to the data center where the actual server machines are located is severely restricted, logged, and monitored. All of the information in your account is private - there are only a few high level employees with proper clearance (former DoD, and HIPAA certified, for example) at Evernote that can access your data and when they do, we would ask for you permission first. This is to troubleshoot a problem in your account if it becomes needed, or if required by subpoena. We would not release any information to any outside agencies, government or otherwise, without proper documentation on their part. Question : Can you change the notebooks you want to be joined to by device so that I do not have to sync all the notebooks to my phone or tablet? Answer : You cannot specify which notebooks you join by device.

If you do not use the @ symbol to designate a notebook, does it go into the personal default notebook? Is there a way to have it push to a business notebook as a default notebook? If you do not designate a business notebook with the "@business notebook name" then the note will go into the default notebook of your account. The default notebook will be a personal notebook, but you can then move the note to the appropriate business notebook once the note is in your account. 2. A company uses forms for filling out information about audits and they were looking for a way to send in forms to their Evernote account. Evernote does not have a way to setup specific forms within notes. There are third party integrations that you can look into that may provide this type of functionality with Evernote. These apps are located within the Evernote Trunk section and there are several Evernote Business Ready Trunk integrations.
