I use Evernote predominantly as a web clipper and I dread using iOS to clip notes as there’s no way to automatically simplify formatting as the desktop version. iOS however, has Reader mode for webpages so please consider configuring Evernote to clip a webpage in Reader mode?
when I do web clipping, it shows, clipping => syncronizing =>done. (my environment is Japanese so maybe words above are slightly different, but meanings are same.) And if I close the web page(s) or web browser while "synchronizing," are there not any problems? I want to ask you about this in the case of windows and mac. (but I recently bought a mac and have not installed/set anything with Evernote.) P.S. Thank you for your continued help
Hi, pretty basic question here: what is your (tried and proofed) way to save whole web pages from Safari into Evernote on the iPad? I would like to save the whole page as it is, with all the pictures, etc. Making a screenshot works some times, but only if the page I'm saving is only one screen big, otherwise screenshots are a pain in the b.... The easiest way for me to save web clips to Evernote has been selecting the text+images I want followed by right-click in the mouse and select the "Save selection to Evernote" option. More convenient and direct than going up to the web clipper in the toolbar. I noted that after upgrading to Safari 6.1 (with latest OSX Mountain Lion) the right-click option for Web Clip capture is not working. Right-cliocking would still display the usual menu, but selecting any Evernote option does not do anything. This functions seems to have been lost. Is this normal? Please respond thanks! Carlos
