I succumbed to the latest prompt and I just updated to the latest windows desktop version. It turned out to be a very bad decision. During the update, it said EN was moving the EN folders/files to a different directory on my computer. At the end of the update, I received a message saying not all of the folders could be moved and to click on a link to see what ones. I clicked on the link and saw about a dozen folders (see attached.) I would like to submit a ticket to support and ask them what to do to fix this problem, but I'm a free user so I can't. It's pretty sketchy that their update broke my EN (which was working just fine) and now I would need to pay them to get help to fix it.

Hi, I am in need of a previous version of Evernote for Windows.. current version has broken tables. Does Evernote supply older versions on their website somewhere? I have version 5.8.13.8152 still stored on my hard drive, but the horizontal navigation bars seem to be missing in this version Also, is there a version history somewhere for each release? This could be really helpful for troubleshooting, and for pinpointing desired versions.

When updating the android app to the latest version, an old version of a note synced over the current version. The version of the note that Evernote somehow restored and synced over the present one, is very old and all the edits I've made are lost. Is it possible to restore the note as it was before the Android update? This makes me question the reliability of EN for important notes, is it common practice for users to backup notes daily? -
Hello, I saw few topic about request to retreive old notes after synch, but I would like to know if you have or it's planned to work on versionning. I would like to track version for my notes and be able to got back to previous notes history version based on the changes description. Is it something than can be a project to work on? Thanks

Hello, I am writing this for some Germans I am talking with on a German Evernote forum. It came up that someone was wondering why the different platforms always have different options in it and why it can't be possible that they do the same things at the same time. So someone that is using a Mac and a PC always has to accept that both versions can't do the same things. And that they might look different as well. Is there a plan to get all platforms to look the same in the future? I would love to tell him some good news.

Hi, your system just auto-updated my PC Evernote program and added an extra column on the left which is driving me nuts. I want to revert to the old version because I do not want the column on the left and I don't see how to disable that column. Please advise.

What are the latest Evernote for Mac (EN Mac) versions, and where do I find the official thread for them that announces their release? Latest Production, General Availability version? Latest Public Beta? Latest Private Beta? On ALL my Macs, "Check for Updates" says "Version 5.3.0 (09/18/2013) build 401872", whether or not I have the "Update to beta versions when available" checked under Preferences. However, I see user threads discussing: EN Mac 5.4.0 EN Mac 5.4.1 EN Mac 5.4.0 Beta (GM says it is a public beta in the thread) I've done numerous searches (as best I can with the very poor, crippled Forum Search) and Google Searches, and can' find any official announcements/releases AFTER EN Mac 5.3.0. Sorry, but if I sound confused, it is because I am. I've been on a cruise for the last week and have not been following Evernote (or much of anything else).
