  1. You guys have a great product! I love it. It just doesn't work consistently in my preferred desktop browser... Some times when I open a note in Firefox nothing except for the title shows up. If I open the same note in Chrome it works fine. Opening a different note in Firefox works fine too. I don't know if it matters but I have only seen this happen with a web-clipped note. The clipping was done using the Firefox plug-in. Browser: 54.0 (64-bit) Mozilla Firefox for Ubuntu Canonical - 1.0 os: Ubuntu 16.04, kernel version 4.4.0-91-generic
  2. When I open Evernote in Ubuntu, all Notes appear empty and are not editable. New notes can be created but only the title can be edited, but no content. Just wouldn't allow to edit at all. This worked before. I don't remember doing anything to EverNote itself but there were some maintenance upgrades to Ubuntu itself. Current version is 16.04 LTS. I run an system update and upgrade, including dist-upgrade just to make sure it had all the latest updates, but even after a reboot it still doesn't work. Anybody any ideas what causes this?

  4. C@ros bom dia, Estou no evernote via interface web (firefox 45.0 - ubuntu 14.04).
  5. the ubuntu font !

i'd love to see the ubuntu font as a font choice on evernote i've started seeing it all over very recently. you guys should follow suit
  6. Hi all, The topic says it all: Where can I get/download a linux client? Creating a "paperless" workflow makes only sense in a device independent environment. I thought that evernote was exactly striving for this. Kind regards, Kay
  7. Hi Gang- Trying to clip a number of full articles, one at a time, from website (actually creative writing piece of mine), the first is imported properly to Evernote. Subsequent ones bring in graphics from the original clip or keep reverting back to the first one even though I am on a completely different page with a unique URL. Using Ubuntu 14.04 and the latest Chrome 43.0.2357.81. Both clipping apps/widgets would see useless under this behavior. TIA, Vince
  8. Evernote for Linux

Are there any plans for Evernote for Linux (Ubuntu)? Although using wine is an OK bandaid it's not quite the same as the organization of the notebooks are different, crashing occurs and certain features don't work.
  9. I think question is all obvious. Firefox webclipper extension is a ***** and moreover offline app is also not available. I always switch to windows to sych it. So can some one pursue them to make one for Linux/Ubuntu and firefox?
  10. Hi I just want to ask that when we are going to have a Evernote that can be used offline on Linux based OS's like Ubuntu, OpenSuse etc?
  11. This post is intended as a basic guide for getting Evernote running under WINE in Linux. If people want to share tips etc, maybe we can build it into something quite useful. Evernote (mostly) works fine for me under WINE and has the last few times I've tried, so I thought I'd share my setup, and if anyone has any further information to add that would be great. *WINE can be a sensitive beast so maybe a list of known working combinations of "WINE version + Evernote version" may help some people? **NOT intended as a "please make a Linux version" thread, there's plenty of those. What doesn't work for me: (I'm not a heavy Evernote user so probably missing a few things) -New Audio Note (might be fixable haven't tried) -New Webcam Note (might be fixable haven't tried) I'm currently using: Linux Distribution: Elementary OS 0.3 -Freya beta (Ubuntu 14.04) WINE version: 1.7.25 Evernote version: Not sure if the below WINE settings make a difference, don't have time to test maybe someone can confirm? WINE settings: -32bit prefix set because using a 64bit machine -set to Windows 7 in winecfg -running gdiplus riched20 and msxml3 as native libraries in winecfg (msxml3 installed via winetricks) -have corefonts package installed via winetricks (someone mentioned installing the Tahoma font in winetricks and using a font-smoothing hack but I haven't had any issues with fonts) Installing WINE 1.7: Here's how to install the latest version of WINE and winetricks using Ubuntu based distros: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install wine1.7 winetricks Screenshot of Evernote running on WINE 1.7: ***On a side note, I remember that for quite a while Google were packaging a very usable combo of WINE and Picassa for Windows into an installable deb/rpm/etc for Linux because they didn't want to create a native Linux version for whatever reasons.
  12. Latest available stable Chrome browser, Version 36.0.1985.125 ubuntu 12.04 Clipper fails to capture the entire article (link included so you can see for yourself there's nothing wrong with the page itself). Found this in the log. Bug? Options? Workaround? Fix? 13. Evernote for Ubuntu

I'd like to know if there will be an Evernote for Ubuntu. Thanks.
  14. After successfully converting (and maintaining) our family's digital/analog recipe collection to Evernote (cross platform w/Android, Windows, Ubuntu, and iPad) I'm considering going after my old world filing cabinet. I use Ubuntu for my day-to-day and would love to connect with someone who is an Ubuntu user and went through the paper/scanning process to discuss workflow and pitfalls. Obviously I can use a Windows machine if I need to, or run Evernote on a virtual machine, or Wine... or use Everpad or Nixnote... If you are being successful at this, what scanner are you using (can be tricky in Ubuntu)? any other details about your success/failure are appreciated...
  15. Hi everyone, I am a digital hoarder and I am looking for a way to take my notes out of Evernote...Basically, I find myself using Evernote more and more and I am getting worried that 1 of 2 scenarios will eventually play out: 1) Evernote goes belly up some day taking my notes and files with it <or> 2) I grow tired of Evernote a year or two but my files will effectively be held hostage in Evernote's cloud....with that said I have read a few different things on the ability to export your notes but I can't find the option anywhere on the web interface. What am I missing? I am currently using Evernote through Chrome on a Linux machine (Mint right now but I'm a disto hopper). Could my problem be that I need to use the Mac or Windows client? If so is there a work around as I have neither? Everpad (Linux client) doesn't give me an option to export and simply lets me add, edit, and delete notes. Any suggestions?
  16. The Evernote web clipper has ceased to function in either FIrefox or Chrome browsers, latest versions. Both hang on login and appear not to connect. Retry simply calls up the login bubble again.
  17. Thought I used Windows mostly, but I also care about the problem of Linux users.
