  1. Option to create your own heading styles and add shortcuts to them would be super effective. At least create predefined styles like mac notes app has. This basic feature is needed, the only thing that stops me from completely switching from mac notes app. That and simpler harmonious design, a little better synchronization.
  2. Hi ? It would be more pleasant to read and write notes if we can customize the layout and typography. Like Bear App (http://www.bear-writer.com/). Thanks ?
  3. Please implement a way for paragraph lines to be shorter. It's a pain reading long texts when width adapts to window size. Also, allowing for line-height adjustments on the Font settings would make the reading/writing experience a LOT better. Typography at Bear and Dropbox paper are two amazing examples of attention to this kind of detail.
  4. Hey! As I am taking notes with Evernote, I have to manually create headers and sub-headers for my paragraphs. Normally I do it by copying previously created text. Although this works for me, it is not really convenient as it involves making some extra clicks&hits, i.e. scrolling and changing formatting back to 《normal》 style. Any chances of getting some simple styling options soon? Thx, Andrey.
  5. Hello, I'm a new user looking to arrange projects and personal notes. I'm fond of the notebooks idea and think it's very useful and feels more organized. However, when i want to write my thoughts or write text online, I am very disappointed of the fonts variety offered. The fonts are well chosen, but without weights it's very hard to find a font that will be pleasing to the eye when dealing with big chunks of text. I would install myself free google fonts if I knew how... but since I don't seem to have access - my experience is not good in this aspect. Take for example Roboto font: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Roboto . when written in short as well as long paragraph, it doesn't exhausting the eyes. Will appreciate your support Efry p.s I was too late to notice the notify when replied button and clicked to submit. How can I be notified anyway?
  6. I think there are some typographic features that need to be incorporated into Evernote. Of course it's absurd to expect it to be as versatile as professional composition software, but there are some at-hand composition features that enhance clarity of our notes, especially if we think Presentation mode. I will list the three that I noticed until now. All suggestions are welcome. Hyperlinks’ underline should be the same colour chosen for the characters in a hyperlink text. Current state is that it stays blue (#1f22f0). I’m not sure if this is a convention, but if you can change the colour of your hyperlink text, then it should be applied to the underline too. Possibility to change the presentation mode default fonts, or choose a font for the title that supports extended Latin, such as ć, č and đ. A greater space between bulleted/numbered list items, or the possibility to define space between paragraphs at single carriage return. Not to forget, there are some cool features as horizontal rule, possibility to insert time and date or to simplify formatting, which are great. Thank you.
  7. Hey there, I didn't find any posts which go into details on that, so I'd like to start this request more serious. I'm quite new to Evernote (~1 year of little usage, and subscribed power user since two months now), and I'm using it currently on Windows and iPad. I'm very aware of the fact that EN is not supposed to be a word processor, and that's exactly why the following suggestion would IMO make a lot of sense. The approaches on the two platforms I'm using regarding the typography are very different: iOS has some predefined styles ("Section", "Subsection", "Paragraph", "Blockquote") while the Windows version allows a lot of styling options (who needs that in that detail?). I guess the fact that you can't chose the same styling in Windows like in iOS (in iOS a heading 1 is 20pt while in Win you can only chose 18 or 24pt) has been pointed very often out and should be fixed of course. But maybe there's a better option after all. I would appreciate very much the standpoint that you do not want to style every note individually, but better want predefined paragraph styles like the iOS app has a glimpse of it. But, as user's tastes are individual it would be very nice to be able to define the style you use, similar to the web stylesheets (css). To make the content more independent from the styling, and that you don't have too many choices/options when writing something down, but still you can have your predefined sets of styles. Ideally this should be solved once across all plattforms. The main thoughts during working led to this suggestion: I don't like Tahoma, and I don't want to change it in every note. I just need basic heading1, heading2, paragraph and blockquote styles, but identical and quickly applicable on all platforms please. self defined styles like e.g. the possibility to create a "code" parapgraph with monospaced fonts would be the cherry on top (of course other usertypes can think of other examples) I think a step like that would underline Evernote's principles very well and make it more efficient and beautiful. Would you agree? Thanks for listening, Philipp
  8. We need a better typography in Evernote. Pls see as it done in Google Docs: paragraph styles, space after paragraphs instead of manually breaks, first line indents etc. Dear developers! Please let us do a better typography.
