It's way too easy to delete a note without realizing it. Would love to see a warning "you are about to delete this note" or pop-up confirming "do you really want to delete this note?". Way better than sifting through the trash to find accidental deletions in the slurry of intentionally deleted notes that perhaps share the same name...

I am an EBA Admin for four EBAs. Today I am working on two of them, 8 users on and 6 on another. They share notebooks between EBAs. I am setting up a new user. I have his temp email, and I set up his Evernote on a Windows computer beside me. On my computer, I shared the notebooks he needs to do his new job. In error, I shared a notebook with him that I should not have. From inside his Windows desktop client app, I "left" the notebook. Here's the problem: after he left the notebook, all of the notes from that notebook were found and still accessible in his Trash. With all of the notes th

Is it possible to reposition the position of the trash Folder? It resides way down at the bottom after all of my tags.

I opened my Evernote desktop app window, and ALL of my business notes were gone. I use Evernote for work, so this is a HUGE issue. Notes are not in trash, not in the web app, nowhere. I did not manually back anything up, as I believed everything would be stored on the web. PLEASE HELP.

I've been using Evernote on my mac for a few years now, and I have 10 versions of Evernote in my applications folder. When it updates to a new version, it doesn't delete the older version for some reason. Older versions of Evernote are using up over a GB on my hard drive for no reason. Any time I've tried to delete the older versions myself, it says I can't empty the trash because some files are locked. But I can't find the files and I've never been able to find information about it online. I can't believe I'm the only one with this issue though. Does anyone know how to get rid of the old

Hello, I'm a long-time user of Evernote, I like to copy-paste articles from the web and read them later on my preferred device, I'm quite happy of such tool. However it's not so perfect at all, not on this particolar "issue": deleted notes on the trash bin are losing their formatting, especially the older ones. I could move them to another notebook but on mobile it's faster to delete and keep them on the "trash" notebook... My main language is not English so please bear with me. Thanks in advance. Bye.

Deleting notes, fine. Works great and goes into the trash like it's supposed to. Does anyone know how to delete the Notebooks via the web, or even the iphone Evernote app? I have a bunch of " conflicting ...." & useless notebooks that I can't get rid of or drag to the trash, and the delete option ends up not being available in the edit menu. With a lot of them, it's just a useless note, in a notebook. I can delete the note in there fine, but the notebook still exists. It's really just starting to look cluttered. Many mess... much annoying.

Emptying Trash is suggested as a cure for syncing problems. However, there are those who want to keep 'trashed' notes available for later search. To keep that option available, one must either 1) move all 'trashed' notes to a new 'Ex-Trash' notebook or 2) export all trashed notes. (Restore' doesn't help here because that puts each note back in its original notebook rather than keep all 'trashed' notes together.) But sometimes the 'Move' runs into the problem when the 'Move to Notebook' button is dimmed; or the 'Export' either issues an error dialog or a dialog indicating all selected

Usually you hear horror stories of people losing data because they didn't backup, but in my case, my horror story is due to a slip of the mouse, and I accidentally selected "Restore Deleted Notes" when right-clicking on the Evernote "Trash", instead of "Empty Trash". Now I am staring in horror, watching Evernote restore hundreds of deleted and redundant notes to my account, because the "Restore Deleted Notes" option does not warn you that it's about to restore the deleted notes and give you an option to abort the operation. I dont suppose there is any way to "undo" a "Restore Deleted Note
